وَ قَالَتِ الۡیَہُوۡدُ یَدُ اللّٰہِ مَغۡلُوۡلَۃٌ ؕ غُلَّتۡ اَیۡدِیۡہِمۡ وَ لُعِنُوۡا بِمَا قَالُوۡا ۘ بَلۡ یَدٰہُ مَبۡسُوۡطَتٰنِ ۙ یُنۡفِقُ کَیۡفَ یَشَآءُ ؕ وَ لَیَزِیۡدَنَّ کَثِیۡرًا مِّنۡہُمۡ مَّاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَیۡکَ مِنۡ رَّبِّکَ طُغۡیَانًا وَّ کُفۡرًا ؕ وَ اَلۡقَیۡنَا بَیۡنَہُمُ الۡعَدَاوَۃَ وَ الۡبَغۡضَآءَ اِلٰی یَوۡمِ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ ؕ کُلَّمَاۤ اَوۡقَدُوۡا نَارًا لِّلۡحَرۡبِ اَطۡفَاَہَا اللّٰہُ ۙ وَ یَسۡعَوۡنَ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ فَسَادًا ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ لَا یُحِبُّ الۡمُفۡسِدِیۡنَ [5:65] And the Jews say, ‘The hand of Allah is tied up.’ Their own hands shall be tied up and they shall be cursed for what they say. Nay, both His hands are wide open; He spends how He pleases. And what has been sent down to thee from thy Lord will most surely increase many of them in rebellion and disbelief. And We have cast among them enmity and hatred till the Day of Resurrection. Whenever they kindle a fire for war, Allah extinguishes it. And they strive to create disorder in the earth, and Allah loves not those who create disorder. Therefore, they can never all believe in Isa(as) with all of them becoming Muslims. Secondly, to state that the verse means “all the Jews must believe in him” means that one must also believe that no Jew died since the time of Isa(as) nor will die until his return. Or that they all be resurrected at the time of his supposed arrival so that they all believe in him. This is obviously absurd. Whether the verse is actually refering to belief in Isa(as), and belief in what sense, is disputed by the classical commentators. Some believe it is not referring to Hazrat Isa(as) at all, rather Allah or the Holy Prophet(sa). This is because the pronoun in the verse به (bihi) is not categorically pointing to Isa(as), rather can refer to other persons or things as well. Others believe that the term موته (mautihi) “his death” refers not the death of Isa(as) but the death of the Jews themselves. Meaning, each Jew will believe in Hazrat Isa(as) in the moment before his death when the angels of Allah inform him of his truthfulness. This is affirmed by an alternative reading (commentary) in which موته (mautihi) “his death” has been explained as موتھم (mautihim) “their death”. In Tafseer Kashaaf under 4:160 Imam Zamakhshari states: لَيُؤْمِنَنَّ بِهِ جملة قسمية واقعة صفة لموصوف محذوف تقديره: وإن من أهل الكتاب أحد إلا ليؤمننّ به. ونحوه: (وَما مِنَّا إِلَّا لَهُ مَقامٌ مَعْلُومٌ) ، (وَإِنْ مِنْكُمْ إِلَّا وارِدُها) والمعنى: وما من اليهود والنصارى أحد إلا ليؤمننّ قبل موته بعيسى، وبأنه عبد اللَّه ورسوله، يعنى: إذا عاين قبل أن تزهق روحه ۔۔۔ وتدل عليه قراءة أبىّ: إلا ليؤمننّ به قبل موتهم، بضم النون على معنى: وإن منهم أحد إلا سيؤمنون به قبل موتهم۔۔۔ وقيل: الضمير في: (بِهِ) يرجع إلى اللَّه تعالى. وقيل: إلى محمد صلى اللَّه عليه وسلم. (الكشاف عن حقائق غوامض التنزيل، زمخشری) لَيُؤْمِنَنَّ بِهِ (layu’minanna bihi) is a statement of fact sentence, where the quality of the described object has been omitted before it’s mention: وإن من أهل الكتاب أحد إلا ليؤمننّ به. And there is not anyone (ahadun) from amongst the people of the book but will believe in him. And there are similar examples found in the Qur’an, such as in: وَما مِنَّا إِلَّا لَهُ مَقامٌ مَعْلُومٌ And there is none from amongst us but that he has a fixed station (37:165) وَإِنْ مِنْكُمْ إِلَّا وارِدُها And there is none from amongst you all but that he will enter it (19:72). And the meaning thus is: and there is none from amongst the Jews or the Christians except that they will believe in him before his death, meaning believing in Isa(as). This is because he is a servant of Allah and His messenger. Meaning, when they see (the angels) before their soul leave their bodies… And the reading of Ubai bin Ka’ab supports this meaning, where it states: إلا ليؤمننّ به قبل موتهم (illa layuminanna bihi qabla mautihim) With a kasrah under the nun, with the meaning that there is noone from amongst them but he will believe in Jesus(as) before their death… And it is said that the pronoun in به (bihi) (in him) refers to Allah, and it is also said that it refers to the prophet Muhammad(sa). (Tafseer Al-Kashaaf, Zamakhshari) A simple understanding of the verse can be deduced from the context. The previous verse states that neither the Jews nor Christians are certain as to whether Isa(as) was killed. This is a miraculous claim, seeing that it strikes at the root of both religions. The Qur’an then states that there is none but will believe in this (i.e. that what the Qur’an has stated in this regard that they have no certain knowledge about his death) before their death. So this miraculous claim was fulfilled during the life of the Holy Prophet(sa). Despite this challenge, not one of them dared to raise their voice against it and accept the challenge by stating that they certainly believed based on solid proof that Jesus had died on the cross. The entire generation died without raising an objection to it, and thus a great intellectual miracle of the Qur’an was demonstrated. From a different angle, the verse could also be referring to the tribes of Israel, and not each individual Jew. The translation would thus be, “And there is no tribe amongst the People of the Book but will believe in him before his death”. This translation is also valid, and indicates that Jesus(as) certainly travelled and took his message to all of the twelve tribes of Israel, and members from each tribe believed in him before his death.

Some contemporary scholars repeatedly insist that the Messiah ibn-e-Maryam has not died, rather he was raised alive to heaven, and is present in heaven with his physical, worldly body and life. And with great boldness and insolence they state that the word tawaffi that has come in reference to the messiah does not mean death, rather it means “to take fully”. Meaning, that the body was taken along with the soul. But to translate it in this way is clear fabrication. The Qur’an in its idiom has in every place used this word to mean the taking of the soul and death. This same meaning is found in all ahadith and sayings of the Holy Prophet(sa). Ever since the Arabian Peninsula was inhabited and the Arabic language began, it cannot be shown through any ancient or modern text that the word tawaffi has been used for taking the body. Rather, wherever the word tawaffa has been attributed as a verb to Allah in regards to a human being, it has only ever meant causing death and taking of the soul and not in the sense of taking the body. There is no Arabic dictionary that presents something contrary to this. There is no expression or saying attributed to the experts of the language that is against this. Thus, there is not the slightest chance of a separate meaning. If anyone presents proof from the Holy Qur’an, or any hadith of the Holy Prophet(sa), or poetry, odes or ancient or modern arabic prose that in any place where the word tawaffi as a verb attributed to Allah is used regarding an animate individual, means anything other than causing death and taking the soul, that is to say that it also means the taking of the body, then I swear by Allah the Magnificent an oath according to proper Islamic law that I will give such a person one thousand rupees in cash by selling some portion of my property and will from hereon in admit his excellence in the sciences of hadith and the Holy Qur’an. (Ruhani Khazain, vol. 3, Izala Auham, pgs. 602-603) All Prophets Before the Prophet Muhammad(sa) have Passed Away Other than the categorical declaration found in the word tawaffa, the Holy Qur’an mentions in general that all prophets before the Holy Prophet(sa) have passed away: وَ مَا مُحَمَّدٌ اِلَّا رَسُوۡلٌ ۚ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِ الرُّسُلُ ؕ اَفَا۠ئِنۡ مَّاتَ اَوۡ قُتِلَ انۡقَلَبۡتُمۡ عَلٰۤی اَعۡقَابِکُمۡ ؕ وَ مَنۡ یَّنۡقَلِبۡ عَلٰی عَقِبَیۡہِ فَلَنۡ یَّضُرَّ اللّٰہَ شَیۡئًا ؕ وَ سَیَجۡزِی اللّٰہُ الشّٰکِرِیۡنَ [3:145] And Muhammad is only a Messenger. Verily, all Messengers have passed away before him. If then he die or be slain, will you turn back on your heels? And he who turns back on his heels shall not harm Allah at all. And Allah will certainly reward the grateful. The argument given in this verse is that the prophet Muhammad(sa) is truthful, and that death, whether natural or through martyrdom, would not nullify his truthfulness. In fact, all prophets before him have passed away. As previous prophets all died, eventually the Prophet Muhammad(sa) will also pass away. This was the ijmaa (consensus) upon this verse of all the coompanions upon the death of the Holy Prophet(as). They all agreed that this verse applied to all previous prophets, and not one of them was alive if the Holy Prophet(as) had passed away. It is narrated: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَاتَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ بِالسُّنْحِ ـ قَالَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي بِالْعَالِيَةِ ـ فَقَامَ عُمَرُ يَقُولُ وَاللَّهِ مَا مَاتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏.‏ قَالَتْ وَقَالَ عُمَرُ وَاللَّهِ مَا كَانَ يَقَعُ فِي نَفْسِي إِلاَّ ذَاكَ وَلَيَبْعَثَنَّهُ اللَّهُ فَلَيَقْطَعَنَّ أَيْدِيَ رِجَالٍ وَأَرْجُلَهُمْ‏.‏ فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَكَشَفَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَبَّلَهُ قَالَ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي طِبْتَ حَيًّا وَمَيِّتًا، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لاَ يُذِيقُكَ اللَّهُ الْمَوْتَتَيْنِ أَبَدًا‏.‏ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَقَالَ أَيُّهَا الْحَالِفُ عَلَى رِسْلِكَ‏.‏ فَلَمَّا تَكَلَّمَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ جَلَسَ عُمَرُ‏.‏ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَقَالَ أَلاَ مَنْ كَانَ يَعْبُدُ مُحَمَّدًا صلى الله عليه وسلم فَإِنَّ مُحَمَّدًا قَدْ مَاتَ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ حَىٌّ لاَ يَمُوتُ‏.‏ وَقَالَ ‏{‏إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُمْ مَيِّتُونَ‏}‏ وَقَالَ ‏{‏وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلاَّ رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ أَفَإِنْ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِكُمْ وَمَنْ يَنْقَلِبْ عَلَى عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَنْ يَضُرَّ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا وَسَيَجْزِي اللَّهُ الشَّاكِرِينَ‏}‏ قَالَ فَنَشَجَ النَّاسُ يَبْكُونَ ـ (صحیح البخاری، كتاب فضائل أصحاب النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم، باب قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏”‏ لَوْ كُنْتُ مُتَّخِذًا خَلِيلاً ‏”‏ قَالَهُ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، حدیث ۳۶۶۸) Narrated ‘Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) Allah’s Messenger(sa) died while Abu Bakr was at a place called As-Sunah (Al-‘Aliya) ‘Umar stood up and said, “By Allah! Allah’s Messenger(sa) is not dead!” ‘Umar (later on) said, “By Allah! Nothing occurred to my mind except that.” He said, “Verily! Allah will send him and he will cut the hands and legs of some men.” Then Abu Bakr came and uncovered the face of Allah’s Messenger(sa), kissed him and said, “Let my mother and father be sacrificed for you, (O Allah’s Messenger(sa)), you are good in life and in death. By Allah in Whose Hands my life is, Allah will never make you taste death twice.” Then he went out and said, “O oath-taker! Don’t be hasty.” When Abu Bakr spoke, ‘Umar sat down. Abu Bakr praised and glorified Allah and said, No doubt! Whoever worshipped Muhammad, then Muhammad is dead, but whoever worshipped Allah, then Allah is Alive and shall never die.” Then he recited Allah’s Statement.:- “(O Muhammad) Verily you will die, and they also will die.” (39.30) He also recited:- “Muhammad is no more than an Apostle; and indeed the Apostles have passed away, before him, If he dies Or is killed, will you then Turn back on your heels? And he who turns back On his heels, not the least Harm will he do to Allah And Allah will give reward to those Who are grateful.” (3.144) The people wept loudly… (Sahih Al-Bukhari, the Book about the Virtues of the Companions of the Prophet(sa), Chapter: the words of the prophet(sa) - “If I were to take Khalil …”, Hadith #3668) It seems that Hazrat Umar(ra) believed that either the Holy Prophet(sa) had fallen asleep, or that he had been raised to heaven or some other location and that Allah would send him again as a prophet. Hazrat Abu Bakr(ra) removed this misunderstanding by quoting (3:145), which categorically claimed that all prophets had died before the prophet Muhammad(sa), and therefore his death was also something that must occur as well. If any of the previous prophet had in fact not died and had been raised to heaven or avoided death in another way, then the argument would no longer be valid. Hazrat Umar(ra) would have stood up and stated that this verse was not categorical, and would have presented the view that Jesus(as) had not yet died rather was alive in heaven, therefore this verse could not be used to prove the death of the Prophet Muhammad(sa). But what actually happened is all of the companions upon hearing this verse accepted the death of the Holy Prophet(sa), as the verse was categorical: all previous prophets had died and would not return, and the same would occur with the Prophet Muhammad(sa). There was no exception to the rule.

I will deliver you from those who disbelieve, and elevate your followers above the disbelievers until the Day of Judgment. وَالسَّلٰمُ عَلَىَّ يَوۡمَ وُلِدْتُّ وَيَوۡمَ اَمُوۡتُ وَيَوۡمَ اُبۡعَثُ حَيًّا‏   Surah Maryam (19:33) Peace be upon me the day I was born and the day I will die, and the day I will be raised up alive." Ayah an-Nisa` (Women) 4:157. and for boasting, “We killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” But they neither killed nor crucified him-it was only made to appear so. Even those who argue for this ˹crucifixion˺ are in doubt. They have no knowledge whatsoever-only making assumptions.

In other words, it was proclaimed that Jesus would attain to dignity, honor and eminence in this world and in the next. Worldly honor and eminence certainly did not come to him in the land of his birth and fulfillment of this part of the prophecy took place only after he had journeyed to Kashmir where he achieved temporal dignity also among the lost tribes of Israel. Again we find in the Holy Quran the words which show that, in answer to a question from God if he had taught the people to take him (i.e. Jesus) for God, Jesus would state: …and I was a witness of their action so long as I lived among them but since Thou didst cause me to die, Thou hast watched over them. (ch. 5: v. 118) These words tell us plainly that the Christians departed from Jesus’ teachings after his death. In another verse, the Holy Quran hints at his journey to Kashmir. It says: …and We gave Jesus and his mother refuge in a lofty place which was secure and watered with springs. (ch. 23: v. 51) The word awa used in Arabic signifies the giving of refuge against danger. It will thus be seen that the thesis about Jesus having escaped from the cross, as stated in the Gospels, is also confirmed by the verses on this subject in the Holy Quran. Evidence in Medical Research Let us now see what medical research and evidence on this subject signifies. We learn from the Gospels that Jesus remained nailed to the cross only about three hours and this way by no means sufficient to bring about his death. It was a Friday afternoon when he was put upon the cross. The following day was the Sabbath and the Passover of the Jews who were strictly forbidden to leave anyone nailed to the cross on the sacred day. There was darkness over the whole land and the Jews, fearing lest they should sin against the Lord by performing on the Holy Day, hastened to take down the body of Jesus. Happily for Jesus, although the soldiers came and broke the legs and toes of the other two who had been put on the cross at the same time, they gave no such treatment to Jesus. Further medical evidence is provided by the story of the piercing of the side of Jesus with a spear by one of the soldiers at the time of the removal of the body from the cross, when blood and water poured forth from the resultant wound. This flow of blood from the wound shows that Jesus had not died upon the cross, because blood could not have poured out from a dead body. We also have evidence in hundreds of books on medicine which describe an ointment as marham Isa which means the “ointment of Jesus”. “Materia Medica” in Greek stated that this ointment was first prepared for the injuries received by Jesus Christ. The reference to this uointment is found in over a thousand books on medicine including the famous book “Qanun by Bu Ali Sena” (Avicenna). The ointment is particularly suited to stop the flow of blood from external injuries. Importance of the Turin Shroud The recent discovery of the Turin Shroud, the history of which goes back to the ninth century in Jerusalem, has been another remarkable find. Prof. Max Frie, a distinguished criminologist and director of the scientific laboratory of the Zurich police, has tested the Turin Shroud for the pollen adhering to it, and, after years of meticulous analysis, using the most advanced techniques, has been able to build up a detailed picture of the shroud’s history and origins. In particular, he discovered on the shroud tiny grains of fossilized pollen that, after detailed tests, turned out to be from plants existing only in Palestine twenty centuries ago. This result of Max Frie’s investigation into the shroud is contained in Mr. Faber-Kaiser’s book “Jesus Died in Kashmir” published in 1976. The author is a scholar of comparative religion who has pieced together an impressive dossier which fills a number of biblical lacunae that have perplexed scholars for hundreds of years. Let me quote another passage from this author’s book: …After seven years of investigations concerning the shroud that covered (Christ’s) body, many scientists have come to the conclusion that Jesus was buried alive. The experts affirm that the Holy Shroud preserved in Turin lay on a crucified body that suffered exactly the same passion as Jesus, but state that this person did not die on the cross, but was buried while still alive. The twenty-eight bloodstains on the shroud prove this. The investigators assure us that a corpse wrapped in a shroud could not bleed in that manner. Jesus was buried alive, unless a second Jesus existed, and he was made to suffer the same agony. In the same book the author quotes from Kurt Berna’s book in German “Jesus Did Not Die on the Cross”. This author talks of the importance of the discovery of this shroud for both the Christians and the Jewish religions - and indeed for Islam also which he omitted to mention - and, in his letter to Pope John XXIII, he clearly mentioned that “…this discovery suggests that the present and past teachings of Christianity are incorrect”. Kurt Burna also concludes that medical evidence shows that Jesus was not dead when he was wrapped on the shroud because had he been dead no fresh blood could have flowed from his injured body and left traces on the cloth. It will thus be seen that the combined evidence from the Scriptures, the Holy Quran, important medical research and the recent stimulating research on the Turin Shroud clearly affirm that Jesus did not die on the cross. Now, if Jesus did not die on the cross and did not bodily ascended to Heaven, where did he go? We have shown that the story of his resurrection and bodily ascension is a myth. Incidentally, no one has cared to explain why there was an interval of three days between the removal of the body from the cross and Jesus’ alleged resurrection and ascension to heaven. This interval of three days is, in fact, only consistent with his medical treatment and escape after gaining strength from his ordeal on the cross. This introduces us to the story of his travels in search of the lost tribes of Israel. Search for The Lost Tribes of Israel We read in the Bible that Jesus Christ was sent only “to the lost sheep of the House of Israel” (Matthew 15:24) and that he had come … “to seek and save that which was lost”. (Luke 19:10) Now if the Jews living in Palestine are to be regarded as lost, then the Israelites who had settled farther afield must certainly be so regarded, for they were lost physically as well as spiritually. Jesus further said that he had come to seek that which was lost and this can by no means apply to any but the Israelites who lived further away from Palestine. The Jews of Palestine were around him in large numbers and, therefore, it was not necessary for him to seek them. It is a historical fact that the Israelites were divided into 12 tribes of which two were in the country where Jesus taught his Gospel and was put on the cross and the other 10 were scattered in other lands. The assigned Divine mission of Jesus would not have been complete, much less could it be described as successful, without his appearance among the remaining 10 tribes representing a vast majority of the Israelite people. The choice here is either to admit that Jesus failed to comply with his Divine mission - an obvious contradiction of terms in regard to any prophet - or that he did travel to that part of the world where the remaining 10 tribes, representing an overwhelming majority, had settled. There is other evidence in the Gospels, of Jesus going to the East. The star which indicated his birth appeared in the East. (Matthew 2:2) Guided by this star certain wise men undertook a long journey and visited the place of his birth. This shows clearly that they had been waiting for his appearance. As the promise of the appearance of Messiah and the signs of his advent had been given to none but the Israelites, therefore, the men that came from the East on seeing the star must have been Israelites. It is claimed that the people of Kashmir, Afghanistan, parts of India and the surrounding lands represent the lost tribes of Israel. Let us examine whether this contention can be proved by historical and other forms of evidence.

جو آنے والا تھا وہ مَیں ہی ہوں۔ جس کے کان ہوں وہ سنے اور جس کی آنکھ ہو وہ دیکھے حضرت مرزا غلام احمد قادیانی، مسیح موعود و مہدی معہودؑ ’’ایک شخص عبد الحق نام جو اپنے آپ کو صوفی ابوالخیر صاحب کے مرید بتلاتے تھے، چند طالب علموں کے ساتھ آئے۔ اَور بھی دہلی والے آموجود ہوئے۔ حضرت مسیح موعود علیہ الصلوٰۃ والسلام نے پوچھا کہ کیا تم سب دہلی کے ہو؟ انہوں نے کہا۔ ہاں۔ پھر میاں عبد الحق صاحب نے سوال کیا کہ مَیں تشفّی کے واسطے ایک بات پوچھتا ہوں۔ حضرت نے اجازت دی۔ عبد الحق: کیا آپ اُس مسیح اور مہدی کو یا ددلانے والے ہیں جو کہ آنے والا ہے یا کہ آپ خود مسیح اور مہدی ہیں؟ حضرت اقدس: مَیں اپنی طرف سے کچھ نہیں کہتا بلکہ قرآن اور حدیث کے مطابق اور اس الہام کے مطابق کہتا ہوں جو خد اتعالیٰ نے مجھے کہا۔ جو آنے والا تھا وہ مَیں ہی ہوں۔ جس کے کان ہوں وہ سنے اور جس کی آنکھ ہو وہ دیکھے۔ قرآن شریف میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا کہ حضرت عیسیٰ فوت ہو گئے اور پیغمبرخدا صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی رؤیت کی گواہی دی۔ دونوں باتیں ہوتی ہیں قول اور فعل۔ یہاں اللہ تعالیٰ کا قول اور آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا فعل موجود ہے۔ شبِ معراج میں آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حضرت عیسیٰ کو دیگر گزشتہ انبیاء کے درمیان دیکھا۔ ان دو شہادتوں کے بعد تم اور کیا چاہتے ہو؟ اس کے بعد خدا تعالیٰ نے صدہا نشانات سے تائید کی۔ جو طالبِ حق ہو اور خوف خدا رکھتا ہو اس کے سمجھنے کے واسطے کافی سامان جمع ہو گیا ہے۔ ایک شخص پہلی پیشگوئی کے مطابق، قال اللہ اور قال الرسول کے مطابق عین ضرورت کے وقت دعویٰ کرتا ہے۔یہ وہ وقت ہے کہ عیسائیت اسلام کو کھا رہی ہے۔ خدا تعالیٰ نے اسلام کی حمایت کے واسطے جو بات پیش کی ہے اس سے بڑھ کر کوئی اَور بات نہیں ہو سکتی۔ انیس سو سال سے عیسائیوں کا یہ عقیدہ ہے کہ عیسیٰ خدا ہے اور معبود ہے اور چالیس کروڑ عیسائی اس وقت موجود ہے۔ اس پر پھر مسلمانوں کی طرف سے اُن کی تائید کی جاتی ہے کہ بیشک عیسیٰ اب تک زندہ ہے، نہ کھانے کا محتاج نہ پینے کا محتاج ۔ سب نبی مر گئے پر وہ زندہ آسمان پر بیٹھا ہے۔ اب آپ ہی بتلائیں کہ اس سے عیسائیوں پر کیا اثر ہوگا۔ عیسائیت کا مقابلہ کرنے کے لیے صحیح ہتھیار عبد الحق: عیسائیوں پر تو کوئی اثر ہو نہیں سکتا جب تک کہ شمشیر نہ ہو۔ حضرت اقدس: یہ بات غلط ہے۔ تلوار کی اب ضرورت نہیں ہے اور نہ تلوار کا اب زمانہ ہے۔ابتدا میں بھی تلوار ظالموں کے حملہ کے روکنے کے واسطے اٹھائی گئی تھی ورنہ اسلام کے مذہب میں جبر نہیں۔ تلوار کا زخم تو مل جاتا ہے پر حجت کا زخم نہیں ملتا۔ دلائل اور براہین کے ساتھ اس وقت مخالفین کو قائل کرنا چاہیے۔ مَیں آپ لوگوں کی خیر خواہی کی ایک بات کہتا ہوں۔ ذرا غور سے سنو۔ ہر دو پہلوئوں پر توجہ کرو۔ اگر عیسائیوں کے سامنے اقرار کیا جائے کہ وہ شخص جس کو تم خدا اور معبود مانتے ہو بیشک وہ اب تک آسمان پر موجود ہے۔ ہمارے نبی تو فوت ہو گئے پر وہ اب تک زندہ ہے اور قیامت تک رہے گا۔ نہ کھانے کا محتاج نہ پینے کا محتاج۔ اگر ہم ایسا کہیں تو اس کا کیا نتیجہ ہوگا؟ اور اگر ہم عیسائیوں کے سامنے یہ ثابت کر دیں کہ جس شخص کو تم اپنا معبود اور خدا مانتے ہو وہ مر گیا۔ مثل دوسرے انبیاء کے فوت ہو کر زمین میں دفن ہے اور اس کی قبر موجود ہے، اس کا کیا نتیجہ ہوگا۔ بحثوں کو جانے دو اورمیری مخالفت کے خیال کو چھوڑو۔ میں پروا نہیں کرتا کہ مجھے کوئی کافر کہے، دجّال کہے یا کچھ اور کہے۔ تم یہ کہو کہ ان ہر دو باتوں میں سے کونسی بات ہے جس سے عیسائی مذہب بیخ و بنیاد سے اُکھڑ جاتا ہے۔ اس تقریر کا میاں عبد الحق صاحب پر بہت اثر ہوا؛ چنانچہ فوراً کھڑا ہو کر حضرت اقدس علیہ السلام کے ہاتھ چومے اور کہا: میں سمجھ گیا۔ آپ اپنا کام کرتے جائیں۔ میں دعا کرتا ہوں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ آپ کو ترقی دے۔ انشاء اللہ ضرور آپ کی ترقی ہو گی۔ یہ بات صحیح ہے‘‘۔ (ملفوظات جلد چہارم صفحہ 492-494۔ ایڈیشن 2003ء مطبوعہ ربوہ)
