Please please please take AP class if you want to!!! Not only do they help your GPA and chances of admission into college, they also prepare you for college level workloads, can help you save money on tuition (at community college too), and they often get the better teachers (I’ve had my fair share of bad AP teachers but at my high school too tho!) @@ashy_dino7631 They would be classes that your school offers when you are choosing your classes. They can be like AP english instead of regular english, or they can be more specific like AP psychology or AP spanish. I'm not sure what grade you are, but in high school, if your school offers it you might want to talk to your counselor. I took AP World History and AP psychology and physics and I don't regret it. They are really hard, but if you like to be challenged, they're great for building your skillset and preparing for college. (Plus you can get college credit from the AP exam at some colleges, you would have to check if they offer credit).

PLEASE take AP Classes!! They help boost your GPA and get you used to the workload of tougher classes! Plus, most colleges will accept credit from you exam if you pass. They are SO worth it, and even if you don't do great you get the experience.

Some breakups are worse then others and your ex might spread horrible rumours around. Trust me, do not be in relationships in high school. Also, please trust me when I say it will all be okay. You can tell the girl talking abt “don’t sit alone at lunch” and “got to EVERY game” isn’t an introvert 😭. From one “shy” girl to another, you can sit alone if you want to. If you’re on your phone or smt while alone, no one rly bats an eye at you. I only sit with my one close friend outside. And towards the end of lunch, sometimes I’d review before a test next period bc I’d feel more stressed sitting there wasting my time 🤷‍♀️. And you DO NOT need to go to any games if you don’t want to (I had to go to every football game bc I’m in color guard). But although I’d recommend going to some, if you don’t want to, don’t. People will try and pressure you into going to places, and if you’re like me, that can drain you. Sometimes it can be fun tho. Just prioritize you and please please please be smart abt your stupid stuff. Love y’all 😘

i was such an anxious and scared freshman, i made maybe 3 friends freshman year, but even then they weren’t good friends. it made what would have been a rlly good year pretty mid i was very lonely. so make friends yall!! i reccomend making friends through clubs and electives. find ppl who like art, music, theatre, sports, cheerleading, woodshop, coding, etc etc join clubs and classes that pertain to ur hobbies!!!! things ur super into!!! that’s how i made all my friends sophomore year :]

I am mostly team doing dual enrollment over AP classes because while they can boost your GPA so can honors classes and dual enrollment and while the dual enrollment can boost your GPA you can also get credits towards college. If you wanna go to college I know from my school you had to take a test depending on your score, that would mean if you got the credit for that AP class.

so in my school you have the option to take AP classes or dual credit classes and it was confusing the difference for me so i’m here to explain in case anyone is in the same shoes as i was! AP classes require you to pass a college board exam at the end of the year with a score of 3 or higher, dual credit classes only require you to pass the class. AP classes are more similar to high school because you’ll have a high school teacher, DC (dual credit) classes are actually college classes most of the time taught by an actual college professor. DC classes have a higher chance of being transferred over to college/being transferred over without problems due to the fact you took them with an actual college (you get enrolled into a college when you sign up for DC classes).

TAKE DUAL ENROLLMENT CLASSES INSTEAD OF APs!!!! They are so much better because they give you college credits which are way more useful in the future when you actually go to college. You don't have to pay to take an AP exam because with APs the class time won't be as valuable i you didn't get a good score. As long as you maintain good grades in Dual Enrollment classes, they will be way better in the long run.

Yall another good tip is if your school does like a before schools things like where you get yours and meet teachers go!!!! It’s a great way to make a good first impression and learn the school! Another thing is for my school all my friends are in different lunch hours make the lunch friends! I had another tip but I forgot it’s so late my brain can’t function so when I remember I’ll type it lol 😂 I just remember it but if your school lets you take health class and that stuff during the summer try and do it! Then you can take more fun classes and you don’t have a schedule to do it , it’s all on your own! Only if it’s online if in person that’s different. And one more thing is sports, band and many more stuff in the summer to look into that so your not a kid who shows up on the first day of school join like a sport and everyone knows each other and know what to do!! Trust me these are really important

for my school, i HAVE to take at least two aps (ap seminar and one other) in order to graduate, and honestly they weren’t too bad! but i would recommend only take ap classes that are about subjects u rlly like 🫶 for example, i loved ap seminar so it was rlly easy, but when i took ap human geo i hated every second of it and almost failed 😭 but this year (junior year) i’m taking ap music theory which i’m super excited about because my favorite teacher is teaching it and i love music!!! ap classes can be rlly fun, college board is just shitty lol

Smile. Not weirdly, but make sure you never have a resting serious, angry, face. Act confident, even if you’re not. Didn’t over share at first, try and act a little bit mysterious so people want to get to know you. Ask people questions about themselves, people love talking about themselves . Try and look put together ( you don’t have to wear makeup or change yourself but just make sure your uniform or clothes are neat and not creased, your hair looks nice, you have good breath, you can wear deodorant or perfume and just use any lip balm to keep your lips moisturised)
