I have this both reel Stradic FL and Old Stradic SW both light reel and you can used it whole day fishing. Regarding to new Stradic SW it seams like Saragosa

Question! I’m interested in purchasing a shimano stradic (probably 8000-10000)I’ll be using it with a caliber 13’ rod. With your gear, how far you think you are casting with this stradic?

Actually sir it depend on how many grams of minnow or jig you are using on my set up im using 40-50 grams minnow or jig and it can be cast around 60-80 meters but sometimes it depends on wind direction also…
