My surgeon said my ovaries were encased in cysts (I had a complete hysterectomy, due to fibroids), but they never gave me the info on how big the mass was. It was a good thing they did, because they had found a 1x2mm cancerous tumor just starting to embed into the uterus wall. I was WAY LUCKY.

Fascinating, but cannot imagine the pain a cyst this big would cause, never knowing what the cause of your pain was. Teratomas are very interesting, seen a few with hair, teeth, nails in them. Happy this was removed from this woman, giving back her life

Danke für das zeigen, ich hatte auch mal so eine Zyste, groß wie ein Tennisball . Sie war ganz schön versteckt, über Ultraschall nicht zu sehen, aber mit sehr viel Druck zu fühlen. Der 5. Arzt fand sie endlich, ohne Ultraschall. Sofort ab ins Krankenhaus, so ein Teil kann platzen wurde mir gesagt.

It is a twin, that never grow. I had one myself. When I was about 15-16 years I notice a pain so my mother thought it was appendix. It was not, it was a twin size of a grape-fruit.

I’ve had dermoid cysts removed from my ovaries 3 times. They were large, like this one, but never caused me any pain. I wish doctors told me years ago that they are caused by iodine deficiency.

Very interesting, feeling how the bloating and pain receded within approximately two months made all the difference, I used what discussed the other day, well, it really took about 10 weeks for it to totally shrink and vanish. I just go’ogled Tilly Strankten's Cyst Guide and it's like I hit the feel-good reset button lol.

I was 115 lbs when I had mine, and I found it by accident with a sonogram for something else, never felt pain. Size of a small grapefruit.

That's a major stereotype, that you wouldn't notice if you were in shape. My ex-gf's mom had one about the size of a softball removed she didn't know was there until it started causing pain. She was very petite, about 5'1" or 5'2", an exercise nut who probably weighed not much more than 100 lbs. The human body can be absolutely crazy and it somehow accommodated that cyst without it being noticable except with x rays.

I have had these removed on 3 separate occasions. My weight is around 135 lbs. I’m 5 feet 4 inches tall. Not even close to being overweight. They’re caused by iodine deficiency.
