Good explanation, learned a lot, i have similar problem with my LG-47LA6200 (3D model) TV. Initially screen starts with vertical bars with good audio. then vertical bars increases full screen , then slowly picture comes with freezing then after 4 minutes we get clear picture with audio. Kindly suggest to repair the same. All voltages are ok in T-Con board.

Hello I repair no picture also, vgh and vgl is shorted,then I only cut vgh line then vgl in the side cof becomes 8v not -8.

8 volt is VCOM so you have to connect VGH& VGL 2 jumper ,

I tried to solder onto cof of TCL tv. But the solder would not stick. I think some cof have alloy that you cannot solder to. In which case you have to use conductive glue.
