They have 28 people in their band/pit/guard/drum major. My band has 26. They have nearly double our winds but we have a little more than about double their drum-line and a bit less than double their guard. Pit is the same. So, from one small band to another, bravo. Great job! Hard work paying off!!

In my highschool if you take band course you’re required to do marching, out entire trumpet section is this large and we don’t sound nearly as good good this, it’s truly incredible to see this, big bands have to start somewhere and there’s definitely photos where our band from the 80s is very small, major props to the band for sounding AND looking incredible, not to mention intonation was great, mad props

I really wanna go to my brother's school now, show them this video, and say "THIS is forte". They have over 300 kids but they're all so quiet! It was just as bad when I was there, but I never realized until after I graduated. Also, when I was marching, the trumpet section was about 4 more people than this band. Flutes and alto sax were about the same. I swear that was all you could hear from us, though I'm happy there's much more diversity now. ALSO this is awesome and nostalgic, thank you c:

My university's sax section is twice the size of this band, but they're rocking it! My high school maxed out at over 100 total and we definitely couldn't match this volume if we were cut even in half. Also, they're great on the jazz part - the trumpets around 4:18 are awesome! You love to see it, great work guys!

This is pretty eye-opening. My band has nearly 200 students in it, we have Bagpipers that play in it, our trumpet, flute, clarinet and saxophone sections have minimum 10 people in it. And yet, for all of this (save the pipes) they are quieter than this 24 student band. Most of the sections hid behind individuals who take the lead. Only until recently has the sound improved so that you can hear more than 2-3 people playing in each section. Bagpipes dont exactly have a tone switcher but we all make sure that when we play, you notice it. The title for a video of my band at the beginning of our marching would be Big Band, Small Sound. I'm going to make an effort to show this to my Band Director in hopes that he see it and address it to the band. Truly an awesome performance

She joined the Marching Band and attended the band summer camp. Now after 7 days she started school with 105 band members with several becoming BFF’s. She is now a freshman in college and still tight with several of her band mates. Thank God for the Marching Bands around the country.
