More video from the Panhandle. These prison units are located at the old Air Base in Big spring-being as I had my parachute (lol) with me,thought I would drop in (pun intended) and visit these folks. I did not find them a very hospitable host. This video depicts what I found on my visit.

I find it very interesting that when someone calls the cops on someone who is not breaking the law, they show up almost immediately. When someone is breaking into your house or your life is being threatened, it takes them at least 30 minutes to show up.

If someone is breaking into your home and you call 911. They will say an officer is on his way. Hang up and call back in 1 minute. And say "I took care of them, all 3 have gun shot wounds. They will be there in less than 2 minutes

It is a a good nice place to rest your hand. Some cops rest both their hands on their neck collar.. I don't know why ? I understand the left hand, because It makes it closer to the button on their mic radio , when their mic- part of the radio is attached to the Left shoulder strap . Makes it easier to call for back-up. Also to throw a punch from the left then grab their gun from the right . I see alot of cops rest their left hand on their collar and their right hand on their bullet case.

Man, I felt bad for the cop in this one. Guy was super cordial, and just got thrown into a really awkward back and forth. Felt so bad for him when he tried to explain that you weren't in any danger, like he thought he might have done something wrong. This is my former facility for 6 years. All of those guys are my former stupervisors. I was the perimeter driver for 2 and half of my six years at this unit. That used to be Webb Air Force Base. I watched the filming of some scenes of the movie "Hangar 18" there back in the late 70's. Also had an awesome concrete skatepark as you go into town from Midland. There is also a street in Midland where there is a series of small but high arching bridges. They filmed a car chase scene there jumping the bridges...they must have went through 10 cars on that shoot.
