We got a giant Pompompurin plush toy after winning the jackpot on Big Sweet Land.
In this episode of catch a toy, we decided to try out the candy pusher machine: "Big Sweet Land". At the drop zone, there is a checker/lever which will trigger the jackpot roulette when it is depressed. Once the bars are filled, you win the jackpot which can be exchanged for any toy of your choice inside the machine.

The one Big Sweet Land near me is hopelessly rigged. Much of the "candy" is about the size of the M&M packages in this video, but they are mostly filled with air. So, they fall off the claw when picked up, or they fall off the claw when it jerks to a stop over the slider, or they fall off the slider, or they fall off before winning. And they are not heavy enough to trigger the button at the end of the tray, if they do eventually fall into the win hopper. All I have ever won are some small pieces of cheap candy. Meanwhile there are some great candy pushers in Japan that have big stacks of Tomica vehicle toys, or big stacks of rectangular hard candy packages. Thanks again for all your great videos.

+Art Becker Yea rigged machines are horrible. We have this rule where we'll play a few times at each machine first to see if they machine is winnable. We're hoping to go to Japan soon :)

I'm actually going to Tokyo & Osaka during the first week of May. Hopefully I'll get to finally play some UFO catchers and other games I don't see much here! Korea is great though. There's always so much to do. I used to live in Seoul but moved to the Bupyeong area in Incheon. It's pretty similar to Hongdae but without as many ppl and clubs, haha. You should dump the candy when the slide is in -- dump the candy in front of the slide. You could have won the jackpot in half the time that it took you. And when you hit a B level, don't just sit there and watch it -- claw as much candy as you can while the flaps are up, and you will win lots more.

Laurajanehahn from Australia has a great channel. She & her friend Matt play Big Sweet Land a lot, and they always play until they hit the jackpot. You can learn a lot by watching them. I think those machines give two plays for a dollar. The only downside is that I almost never understand anything she says. Then there all the Japanese channels where they play Big Sweet Land for prizes other than loose candy. Those are really fun to watch. I'll be in Japan the second week of May. They have lots of candy pushers & claws (UFO Catchers). Every major train station has nearby arcades. After that I'll go to the USA for a few weeks, and concentrate on the special coin pushers & claw machines there.
