Serrated is good on anyone, but I feel big swings is only really good on bubba and Johnny. You need very high savagery to get a good bonus from big swings.

@@ShotFiend 42 savagery and max Serrated will kill anyone not running No Sell in 5 swings or less. So put 7 points into savagery the rest into endurance and you can easily get enough swings to kill.

25:54 There's an audio bug on Nancy's House where you can't hear Leatherface's chainsaw when you're in the garage if he's outside the house. That's why you thought he stalled, but then he was back at maximum revs a moment later. It makes Leatherface particularly dangerous on that map because Victims can be right at the edge of the garage and not hear Leatherface who could be one metre away running towards them from outside.

Serrated on account of two things - hit boxes are a bit wack so big swings can mean you hit nothing and instant out of Stam. Also serrated because if you hit them and they go down a well… Bleed out a lot of times.

i think the short answer for the two perks is: it depends. a cook with scout & unrelenting (or fired up) would get great value with big swings but with his already low endurance, it's not a great pick if you aren't dumping points into it. serrated gives good bang for your buck since cook has no chase game anyways. serrated is high tier on everyone who can get it, i would wager it's essential for chase builds & any johnny build

If you're using scout you generally don't want big swings. The extra speed means chaining hits is much more likely, you don't want double stamina loss in those scenarios

Possibly! it's just a lot of work to set it up. i use to have a discord a while back for my first channel and it was just too much work. Cook at max with Big Swings is 29.9. Cook at max with Serrated is 31. The only thing to consider if that Big Swings gives instant damage boost, whereas Serrated is over a 5 second period hence why victims sometimes drop after getting away. I think both are good, but that huge 200% stamina drain is a big thing to consider.

Serrated is always better! Even if you take 50 savagery leather face (30 DMG per hit) With Big swings he would deal 34.5 DMG (+4.5 DMG) Serrated on the other hand always makes it +5 DMG.... even you playing base savagery Sissy (11.2 DMG per Hit)

Serrated is a guaranteed 5 damage per swing with no stamina penalty. The math was done on big swings and at level 3 it's only 3 extra damage per swing, WITH the stamina penalty. The fact that people still debate this is wild. Even on leatherface you're better off with other perks.

Big swings does added 4.5 dmg while serrated does 5 added dmg but resets at each hit so you might not always get the full 5 bleed dmg unless you wait 5 seconds after every time you land a hit. But even though with big swings you will always get the full value of dmg per hit I’d say serrated is better because is doesn’t come at the cost of loosing your stamina twice as fast. If you can get more chances to hit a victim when the dmg is almost the same I’ll always use serrated over big swings.
