Best Tips For Evade To Become A Pro! Tip 1: Door Smashing As we all know, EVADE is a game of patience and thought. The same cannot be said for the Door Smashing. Door smashing may seem mundane and quite useless at first glance, but with time accumulated smashing in doors rather than opening them whilst walking. To initiate the door smash, sprint your way to any door and run up to it. As soon as you go through the door, press the crouch key. Fair warning, this tip works on most doors, but not all doors are built equally. Tip 2: Wall Running Evade is exactly what it’s named. The name of the game is to evade. The best way to evade is with speed. Whilst the running speed for all characters is the same. There is a way to increase the base running speed. For this tip, make sure you’re in the third-person mode. There isn’t anything intrinsically third-person about this tip, but it’s far easier to execute if you do it in the third person. To initiate wall running, run as normal, but whilst you’re running, hug onto a wall to sprint faster. We aren’t sure what causes the speed increase, but we’re glad it does. This mechanic has saved me numerous times and is amongst the most versatile tricks to give you those crucial inches of space from a Nextbot. Tip 3: Bunny Hopping Bunny hopping, when used in tandem with Wall running makes you a formidable opponent to any interested Nextbot. Bunny hopping is a ubiquitous feature in every Roblox game. Bunny hopping is basically incorporating jumps when you’re sprinting to provide you with a little bit more speed. To bunny-hop easier, bind your jump key to your mouse wheel. This allows you to spam the command more rather than mashing the space bar. Tip 4: Circling If you’re going to take anything from this guide, let circling be it. Circling is essentially creating a train in Black Ops Zombies. If you are unfamiliar with the mechanic, circling entails that when a Nextbot is chasing you, run around in circles to confuse the Nexbot, the more circles you make, the more confused the Nextbot gets, giving you more time to escape. This is a tip used in every professional Evade game. This is a testament to how powerful the mechanic is. Tip 5: Quick Revive If you’re Reviving a teammate that is downed, there is a revive bar under their name to indicate the progress of the revive. When you are reviving, you do not actually have to revive them all the way. Once the revive bar crosses the halfway point, the revive goes through regardless. So, if you’re in imminent danger and want to revive a person at the same time. This tip can come in handy. Tip 6: Warning Lights Warning lights are also a good way of knowing when Nextbots are near without actually seeing them. Lights in Evade are usually solid, but when the presence of a Nextbot is detected, the lights start to flicker. The tempo of the flickering indicates how close the Nextbot is to the player, and a higher tempo indicates lesser distance and vice versa. Use this mechanic to your advantage, but spriting to a safe location the instant the lights start flickering. Tip 7: Carrying Although we understand that carrying is used maliciously and can be used as a trolling mechanism, it is wise to keep carrying disabled by default. However, if you’re in the lobby with a bunch of friends that you can use, the carrying mechanic is one of the most useful mechanics. This prevents your teammates from being exposed to the next bots and jeopardizes their game. Tip 8: Third-person view It is common knowledge, that the third-person FOv grants you more vision. Seeing more sets you in a better position than someone who is adamant about a first-person perspective. Seeing really is believing, as the vision increase from just switching perspectives is gargantuan. Although for maximum immersion, stick to the first person. But for the maximum competitive advantage, using the third person when beneficial is highly recommended. Tip 9: Field of View Changing Field of View Filed of view is a setting that can be found in the Evade settings. Click on the gear icon located on the bottom right of your game. There is a slider labeled “Field Of View”. This lets you go from a normal 70 FOV to a maximum of 90 FOV. Disclaimer: FOV changes have a substantial effect on performance. If you are already struggling to pull 60 frames a second. The tradeoff for the higher FOV will be negated with a sub-par framerate.
