100%. I’m usually not focused on lyrics at all. I hear them as another instrument. The marriage between the poetry and the music is deep and powerful in this song.

Burn up with the water The floods are on the plains The planets in a rose Who knows what they contain? And my brain is like an orchestra Playing on, insane Will you love me like you loved me in the January rain? Mom and Dad and violins Sung the country silence The needle stop the kicking The clothespins on the floor And my heart is playing hide and seek Waiting, count to four Will you love me like you loved me and I'll never ask for more What did you tell me Mary When you were there so sweet and very Full of field and stars You carried all of time When heaven's when you looked at me Your eyes were like machinery Your hands were making artifacts in the corner of my mind Monastery monochrome Boom balloon machine and all Diamond rings and gutter bones Marching up some mountain With our aching planet High and smiling Cheap drink Dark and violet Full of butterflies The violent tenderness The sweetest silence The clay you find is fortified We felt some focus fade the line The sugar rush The constant hush The pushing of the water gush The marching band When April ran The June bugs flying Push your gin Jacob With the tired wiry brandy look Here you go around Mary in your famous story book We overcome the sirens We look both left and right And I can feel the numbness accompany my plight And I know someday soon I'll see you But now you're out of sight And you'll kiss me like you used to in the January night What did you tell me Mary When you were there so sweet and very Full of field and stars You carried all of time Oh when heaven's when you looked at me Your eyes were like machinery Your hands were making artifacts in the corner of my mind Monastery monochrome Boom balloon machine and all Diamond rings and gutter bones Marching up some mountain With our aching planet High and smiling Cheap drink Dark and violet Full of butterflies The violent tenderness The sweetest silence The clay you find is fortified We felt some focus fade the line The sugar rush The constant hush The pushing of the water gush The marching band When April ran The June bugs flying Push your gin Jacob With the tired wiry brandy look Here you go around Mary in your famous story book

The first time i heard this song ,i was having a panic attack. After I finished working 36 hours straight, im so tired i cant even sleep, it felt like im going to die if i sleep, like im sure im going to die , i started to have palpitations. Then, i tried to calm myself down and to listen to music,on some random indie music playlist on spotify, on shuffle, this song came first. And I thought, if this is the song I will be listening to before i die, nothing could be more beautiful, let me die then. I slept so well that night.

something great also can be simple but that doesn't matter if it's don't require more details because it's almost fully formed as its coming out in a stream of consciousness that is captured like lightning in a bottle or whatever and that's not less of a masterpiece I don't think🤔🤔

I can't believe Buck and Adrianne bring those guitars on tour with them! They are $5-6k guitars, the Collings I-35 and SoCo deluxe I think. Unless they only drive in vans between shows, I would never let an airline employee throw them around while loading airplanes.
