I have just come across Big Tom, Wish it was sooner, Great that he should be the 1st. into the ICMA. I have listened to several of his songs/ videos, All great & I love his singing ~ Arthur

I have no doubt if he was promoted in America He would be inducted to the CMA Hall Of Fame He would be up there with George Jones Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash Etc. America would have gone wild for him. His L.P#s “Ashes Of Love” and “Smoke Along The Track recorded in 1972 were his greatest albums they proved what a great country artist he was. In the line of Gospel song he had no equal. As to whether Tom would be happy living in America I am not so sure, He would probably prefer going to the local mart and playing with his vintage tractors. They will never be another like him. A plain and simple man singing plain and simple songs
