@Paul Collins That was horrible what Mr. Ryan said especially if this was Mario the magician from "Pee Wee's Big Adventure", he would have told Pee Wee to help himself looking around and it's surprising how everyone on this movie hates Pee Wee (except his farm animals and the circus people) when everyone loved him on "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" (except Francis and Andy) and everyone loves him on his show "Pee Wee's Playhouse." Plus, it's weird how the director on this movie made people be arrogant to Pee Wee since it was mentioned that Pee Wee whose real name is Paul Reubens was treated badly by people in life and decided to have a show for his own self having him hang out with friends and friends coming over to see him which is the show "Pee Wee's Playhouse" which could be another reason why almost everyone on "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" loved him.

I also watched this as a little kid, and felt even then that it was sexual. 😬😳 It's funny because that's why I looked up this scene- to see what I thought about it now, all these years later. So many "kids'" movies, shows, etc. are not actually appropriate for kids; it's horrible. That kind of stuff affects children. I still remember to this day how this scene made me feel. So awkward and inappropriate. When I saw your comment, I thought it was interesting how we had opposite experiences. 😅

@@masterzombie161 However, it is a little unknown because somehow it felt like he agreed to be her boyfriend at the end because she met up with him at the Drive In Theater which she wanted to do with him and at the end he told her that they should just leave and go home (he could have secretly rode off on his bike without her) explaining that he doesn't need to watch the movie made in his honor because he lived through it meaning he knows what happens scene by scene where Dottie agreed to go home with him.

@Stereobraingain Perhaps it's because they are old senior citizens who can sometimes be cranky and are not in the mood for talking and playing jokes since Pee Wee can be a joker sometimes and perhaps the townspeople wished they were not old and at least Pee Wee granted a wish for them at the end making them young 4 year olds again but, it's unknown whatever happened to them after that since I'm guessing the authorities put them in orphanages not having a mom and dad to take care of them and seeing them as senior citizens here could mean that their parents are already dead from old age.
