No need to replace a player who is good for you at a lower rating, for example Clarke. If someone is good, don’t replace for the sake of replacing

Ches unfortunately is fixated by ratings. For example: When he constantly asks for back up ideas for positions throughout a save, I'm screaming at my screen to use the youth players. No point in having youth academy in these types of saves. He never uses them and they won't get any better without game time. So what if they are 65/70 rated, sometimes these youth players play better than an 80/85 rated player. Ches won't change.

I’m not fixated by ratings at all, it’s the comments section that gets grumpy and tunes out if I sign someone I like the look of that’s not as highly rated as other alternatives or complains when I sign a 28 year old over a 22 year old. I’ve merely adapted my content and signings over the years to what satisfies the majority. The next save with Cambridge is going to be a hyper realistic RTG save that will do the things you wish I did more regularly 👌🏻

Personally. Get Alvarez he’s a good option for out wide and as a ST or CAM if Rutter gets injured. For the CDM spot get Rice you haven’t gotten rice before in a save. You had bennacer in fifa 23. Tchoumeni is unrealistic. United and Leeds hate each other and don’t do business with each other. For the wide back I think get parisi he’s cheap and grows really well you could get him to the high 80s by seasons end.

For the Cambridge save, please don’t use the editor to check potentials. I understand doing it here, but for me it’s a bit cheaty and makes it too easy to build a team that grows unrealistically fast.

I would definitely go for Udogie. He's still young enough to grow even further and you can offer Champions League football this year whereas Liverpool can't.

I think you shouldn’t replace the full backs, they play better than the ratings show and you can use the money elsewhere. Get a back up in those positions. If it’s only one more season, pick up Bennacer leaves more money. I would go for Alvarez too, as you said versatile across the front 4.

First of all check your players contracts so they don't submit transfer request or bring the team morale down, for the wing I think you should keep Clark he preforms well instead replace Rutter his performance and stats are weak for his rating(Julien Alvarez is a great replacement) . Keep your fullbacks and sign backups. And for the CDM sign someone tall so you can win aerial balls in the midfield

I would sign Bennacer, keep Jack Clarke starting, and then sign a RW around 81/82 rated but with potential higher than Jack’s so that scope for him to take the place from Jack is there. Similar at fullback
