Allen wont be the same, for the same reason Prosper is good. Housing development, more people are moving to Prosper than Allen. So as Allen homes and neighborhoods age their talent level will drop. The cities who build great homes and neighborhoods will sustain their high school success. I.E Southlake.

I’m born and raised in SoCal. I moved to Texas a few years ago. Texas is getting people moving in far more than any people are “recruiting” here. The suburb that Allen is in has a high value community where executives bring their kids to live in a nice area. There is only one football team in Allen due to the 1 high school in the city rule. That is 4,885 kids enrolled for the largest public school in Texas. In SoCal, they definitely recruited in pop Warner and Jr. All American. That was common in the big three sports. That’s what they called travel ball. But most of the bigger named schools didn’t have to recruit nearly as much as they used to. The name carries weight. I played ball with 2 World Series winners in my little league. Just a lot of talent in SoCal.

Couple things… Fans assumed a guarantee win and it became a trap game for Allen….which has now everyone thinking they are trash going into this Southlake game… but people may get shocked….Especially if Allen plays like they did against Trinity. Also, getting in and out of Prosper stadium is an ABSOLUTE BEAT DOWN right now with construction. Sat in the car a long time to get in and out of there that night.

There's more rules in Texas regarding transfers, out of districts, recruiting..etc.. We've dealt with some horror stories about getting disqualified for these things...heart breakers...over paperwork, vindictive coaches blocking transfers.. I believe in California its recruiting all day long..
