Yeah, it is terrific camping! Other campers are usually driving the typical overlanding equipment and they are interesting to chat with. Golden hour in the late afternoon is stunning. And it is only 30 minutes from our home.

The roads there now are still in great shape. Temp will be about 95 or more during the day though. Check our other videos for other ideas including or Kokopelli Trail Leg 3 which I'll publish tomorrow. We hit 125F there last weekend but camped at 8,300 feet in a meadow in the LaSal Mountains Saturday night and very comfortable. Lots of wildflowers and big views!
