Agadmator please try if you can do this: whenever you are covering a tournament like this one, and obviously there are some matches which are not covered, so when you show the standings please mention the results of the games you haven't covered of that round; like for this round we saw ivanchuk vs Carlson and kramnik vs aronian, so while showing the final standings mention the other results as well! Just a suggestion. Really like your videos and style of covering games/tournaments.

Hi, I really love your channel and I just had a pretty great idea for it. Instead of just analyzing pro games (which I do enjoy) how about you have a segment like let’s say on every Thursday (for example) you upload a video analyzing a game played by ordinary chess players subscribed to your channel. This way you can point out any blunders we make and tell us what we should’ve done in the game and how we can improve. This will not only help our chess games out but I also believe it’ll be good for you channel as it brings something that I don’t think any other chess KZbinr does and it helps us connect better as a community with you. Just an idea though so if you don’t like it it’s cool. Love you stuff mate 👍🏽

Alfonso David Rodriguez Then the white king would be blocking his own c-pawn. Moreover black can simply play bishop h7 and then to e4, preventing white from queening just in time. If the white king tries to move up the board for the rescue, then the game continuation would follow.

I am picking knits here, but when you talk about what the engine recommends, I have to say my engine running overclocked for 5 minutes on 16 processors does not always agree. I would really appreciate a series of videos on how you use engines. In this game it would be nice if you called out 20.. Ne7 as a bad move, compared to 20.. Rac8 which x-rays the white queen and keeps black's initiative. Also my engine suggests that 38. Kg5 is a blunder and that White would do better (draw?) with 38. h5 followed by advancing the g pawn. All in all this strikes me as a wild game with both sides making inaccuracies. Bottom line though is that Kramnik is a master of this type of play.

I am wondering, as a speaker of Russian, I don't understand why you called Vladimir "Vlad". In Russian it is Vladislav, same as polish Waldyslaw. Vlad is never used to refer to Vladimir, except when those unfamiliar with Russian language may erroneously assume that it is the same, regardless if the name is Vladislav or Vladimir. Well, I am sure you know what I am referring to.

White defends the pawn with the rook and it's only 2 vs 1on the queen's side and you even have majority on the king's side as white. After all the number of pawns on both sides is equal and black has slight advantage, because it's bishop against a knight

The king can move to the corner. If Qxp on c7, then it is a stalemate.

Ok, i can understand Paul Morphy games, i can understand Capablanca games. I know why Tal was mad genius. And i know why kasparow could calculate everything. BUT THIS! HOLY COW its complitly difrent level of thinkig im chess. Dont call me amature im 2128 (in this moment) and i understand basics of chess well. But this... To play like this you have to consider every move (even most stupid) for 5 moves deep (or deeper). They are insane! For player whoes were playing 1h games they know how exhuasting it is. Its very imlressed me how they deeply uderstand chess.
