Yeah I read the spell very carefully to make sure my Wings of Fire OC could cast magic. Knew it! It was so carefully worded that “no dragon alive today” could cast animus spells.

Happy to see more breaking news from our favourite reporter! What I'm most excited for are the teases for Book 16 and the prospect of animus magic returning. As for locations, I'm assuming it's in the central area of Pyrrhia, in the outskirts of either the Sky or Mud Kingdoms (taking into account Beryl's involvement) And then there's animus magic. Ever since I read Jerboa III's spell, it's wording always felt suggestive of something... and now it's ACTUALLY BEEN CONFIRMED! Let's just hope nothing terrible happens in the second era of animus magic

One if the reasons I'm so excited to get this graphic is because of Darkstalker. So far, we've only seen shadows of him through graphic novels 6 and 7. And at the end of book 8, since Peril burns the talisman, Darkstalker comes from the mountain. I'm super excited to see how they drew Darkstalker!

AHHH SO EXVITING. Tsunami has been in so many books XD I think she may be one of the most occurring characters! I’m glad we will soon find out who This Beryl is. I’m excited for the new area! And YES the animus magic SHALL RETURNNNN I had theories! If I rmeber correctly, the spell said no spell can be cast by any CURRENT animus dragons, so any newly born would be capable.

I think naming this mystery dragon Scarlet hated after a colorless gemstone was a brilliant idea. We’ve had skywings like Ruby and Tourmaline named after specifically red gems and Sapphire the seawing named after a blue gemstone. My first guess was Beryl was a Skywing, but really, the name Beryl could be given to a dragon of any color and tribe

I fell like I’m the only one who noticed this: in book fourteen, in the vision that snowfall has about how jerboa broke animus magic and you read it carefully it says: “When I shatter it, I shatter the power of all CURRENT animus dragons. From now on, no new spells cast by any animus dragon ALIVE TODAY will ever work again.” This means that if a new animus dragon is born then they could still use animus magic. Idk, thats what I noticed but everyone could have noticed it, I just never heard anyone talk about this.
