This video shows Big Wolf Lake, part of the Michigan Center Chain of Lakes which is sometimes referred to as the Big Wolf Chain of Lakes in Jackson County, Michigan. You will see the Wolf Lake Yacht Club in the video, the south shore launch in Oak Point, the sand bar, Camp Teetonkah, hear about the Wolf Lake Ski Club, and more. Big Wolf Lake is 375 acres and has a reported maximum depth of 45 feet. Big Wolf connects directly to Little Wolf Lake and Olcott Lake through channels. This lake tends to be the most expensive to buy property on in this chain of lakes and has been very popular. Around July 4th this lake has been host to an annual Pancake breakfast, concerts on the sand bar, and boat parades. It also has history with the railway heading out to Grass Lake from Jackson, and is home to Camp Teetonkah, a Boy Scout Camp with it's own long history as it opened around 1912.
