I dig this story as I'm from michigan. Shot my heaviest buck and doe in a similar type of deal 181 lb doe. 226 155 inch 8 pointer that was also a 10 the prior year. Southern Michigan lots of big bodied deer down here in the crop lands but not much for big sections of land it's almost all 100 acre parcels or less
