I adore this shape XJ. My uncle had a brand new 95 XJ Sport 3.2 in silver/blue with cream leather. It was a fabulous car. These were a high point for Jaguar. What an absolute bargain.

I had to replace my daily beater. It is nearly getting impossible to get a reasonably priced car lately. I do not like British cars to much except a few unaffordable luxury vehicles. I laways LOVED thid body style Jag though. I bet I would have bought this in a heartbeat! Congratulation! we had an elderly lady as a customer in our body shop. She bought a brand new white Jag of this vintage. She had a hard time making a special order. White exterior and red leather interior. The seller wanted to persuade her that this color combo would not fit. Turned out it was stunningly beautiful.

These cars exuded class, Al. This generation jag was so pretty and they really knew what they were doing with their interiors. Can’t wait to see it cleaned up and repaired. Another nice save Al!

Nice buy, when these came out in 1987 were the first all new Jag sedans since 1968. The first gen was actually a little more futuristic than the later ones, they had a screen in the cluster for the trip computer, they sort of retro styled them when they refreshed the styling. Too bad it's not the Vanden Plas with the wood tray tables in the back seats.

Al you absolutely scored again that's a stunning car this shape XJ is also fairly reliable. The colour of this car should be glacier white there to my knowledge there's 2 things that could have happened either it has a bad paint job at some point and it's that that is cracking. Or the original paint is cracking because in the early-mid 90s most European cars started switching to water based clear coat and those early years of water based clear they hadn't yet fully perfected it so its quite comon for it to crack especially in sunny parts of world.

I had a forest green 96 vandenplas with those same rims. The original wheels was the turbine style and I paid 300 dollars for the chrome wheels..
