I watched this video again and I picked more nuggets that were overlooked. Every time I watch one of your old videos, I pick another nugget. I know I'm late to the party but I'm new to the industry and there is something that I don't understand. If your scenario is that the fan reaches a locked condition and excessive current is being drawn on the primary side, how would excessive current draw be translated to the pilot side, tripping the overload. The only load in that circuit is the coil itself.

When the heater elements on the primary side experience high sustained current the NC pilot contact opens.
