as a throwback yall should listen to La La La, it came out around 2006 and definitely have those vibes and it's one of my favorites by them. also check out their debut song, We Belong Together, their debut was actualy unique cause all 5 members were in the video, but only T.O.P and Gdragon were on the actual along with park bom(from 2NE1) singing the chorus and there's a surprise at the end of the song that i really liked. like despite it being old, some of their best songs are from their earlier eras.

Recomandations: first a lyric video of song Still Alive with english translation, it has no MV, because it shows just how brutal idol life has been to them . I see others already suggested MAMA performances , all are amazing . I would add Sober life Malaysia. Watch the video DKDKTV did on G Dragon . It would help you get an idea of his influence on the music industry . When BigBang has a comeback the entire korean music industry does an evolutionary step foward . Last solo comeback GD released his album on usb . He noticed CD players are no longer part of laptops , pc etc The music industry didnt want to recognise it but they were forced to do it in the end . In the fashion world he is not just a famous face doing publicity he created a brand new shoe model for Nike and they even altered their registerd trademark to include GDs fashion brand Peace Minus One .

The first time I heard BB was live 😅 my sister was a fan and invited me to their show in Las Vegas (first stop in their Made US Tour) and I never heard them until then-they are AMAZING live! Bigbang introduced EDM in kpop and real rap too . They had the first real rapline . When rookie idols or trainees say they want to be like BigBang they say I want to be an artist like BigBang. The group has brought freedom in kpop , the chance to actualy be more than a company puppet , to be a musician . They always put music on the first place , not records , sales or awards , those came fallowing the music , because the songs are good . Chanel dropped yesterday a podcast interview with GD ( he is brand ambassador for them ) and he said " I think is it my mission to come up with a new vision" . BigBang is not in competition with other people they are instead chalenging themselves to do new things , to do more . In the 16 years since debut it has been BigBang versus 1 Gen , 2 Gen top artists like Super Junior , TVXQ , 3 Gen EXO, BTS but BigBang's name still stayed there . They been in hiatus 5 years , got only hate, bad press during this time but still their name is there, the standard everyone is compared too .

Nah bigbang didn't introduce the "real rap" you're talking about. Rap esp in underground in korea is already popular even before bigbang debuted. Outsider is the proof there and other professional rappers. That's why a lot of underground hip hoppers/rappers hate k-idols coz y'all fans kept saying "this group introduced real rap blah blah" "this group are the kings when it comes to rap blah blah" "This group introduced hiphop blah blah" "this group..." "That group...." Etc. Y'all making them that they didn't exist at all when in fact they've been there all along. It's just they aren't kpop. Underground rappers introduced "real rap" not bigbang.

Check out their ballad, If You live in Bangkok, you'll see BIGBANG in a different light. My bias and only bias in whole kpop is Daesung. Apart from his impressive vocals (one of the best I've heard, this man can slay any song genre you can think of, from rock to ballad -sometimes with head voice that sounded almost like a whistle to trot, check out his Anymore live from his solo Japan Dome Tour 2017, you'll see what I mean), he has such bubbly personality, witty, funny, and very charming and not to mention extremely talented.
