I also think Top’s anger is directed at the media for all those negative reports, the judgment he got from the public, those who condemned him and turned their back on him. Yg has never treated him right after that scandal. Until now I still can’t bear to look at the videos and photos of media hounding him as he leaves the hospital. He was in the wheelchair and insensitive press kept on asking him questions. That was right after he overdose on he tried to commit suicide and gone into comma. How insensitive people are and YG has never offered support or sent security guards for him. They left him there answering to media in that mental state. And even after that, YG never published any photos of him, they cropped and blurred him out in any Bigbang related posts. Im not surprised TOP left the agency. Im actually proud of him for taking a stan and for pursuing his dream. And I can’t wait for his solo

GD once said in an interview that "BIGBANG is a square of 4 members with me (5th member) in the middle" (as the director/leader). DAE sitting in the 3rd chair is very significant because RI (4th chair) is the only member younger than him. The damaged chair represents Seungri in my opinion. VIPs' chants are in this order: GD (directors' chair) TAE (1st chair) TOP (2nd chair) DAE (3rd chair) RI (4th chair) Since GD is the leader, he's known to exclude himself when talking about BB, as mentioned in the interview above. One thing I may disagree with is the part he said "Burying my anger in the past" actually refers to the anger he has towards the attitudes, criticism and cruelness from the netizens who was pointing at him at that time, saying he was a criminal. I still stand by the opinion that the 4 chairs + 1 director's chair could be the representation of BIGBANG as 5. GD mentioned in one interview that BIGBANG for him is a square, excluding himself, 4 of them makes a square. He also posted a photo on instagram last 2020 of 4 connected chairs and one chair at the back which could relate to this. And to analyze the chairs in the MV, remember dae sat at the third chair, so we could assume that they're arranged by their age so the leftmost chair would be Top's, on the right of it would be taeyang, third is dae, and last is seungri. And if we take a look at the chairs, we could visualize that the last chair (rightmost) is broken (or its paint is peeled off), which may symbolize seungri's state and situation right now. In addition to Tabi's part, the "rabbit in the moon" is an old folklore that symbolizes rebirth

The members have always said that without OT5, there is NO BIGBANG. They said that AFTER they came back from a hiatus because of another scandal. During their 2012 ALIVE comeback. For them to say that, it means they are serious. Those words are heavy, important, a promise. After all they could have disbanded when 2011 scandal happened but they didn't. They cameback as a whole after suffering a dark chapter of their life not just individually but as a group. And right now, they are undergoing the same thing. So it makes sense that the 4 are bidding their time until Riri comes back. So BIGBANG could come back.

Bigbang will always be 5 members and if they are going to perform as 4 they will still be called bigbang and not Top collaborating with them. You see other kpop groups whose members are not of the same agency liek Got7, 2pm and so on.. they release songs and they are still called by the same band name. Somehow they make it work and this is the same case as Bigbang.. whether Top is in the same agency or not. It’s not over for Bigbang. Lets look at it the same way as before, from Alive to Made Album, they had 3yr hiatus and during that 3 years, Top released a single and starred in two movies, Taeyang and GD released their own albums, Dae was busy in Japan, Seungri had his individual activity. It will just be like that for them after Still Life. As to when they are going to Come back, that remains a question.

But a very successful group usually never disband but “goes on hiatus” like the Pussycat Dolls, Destiny’s Child or *NSYNC. BB after this probably will be in hiatus once again and we don’t see them together for a while.

The type of contracts that TOP and that 2PM member may have is called a non-exclusive contract, that just means they can work independently when they choose to and not tied down by a parent company.

Charles, you have a point too yknow. Either it is 4+1 chairs or just 4 chairs because of the four lights (director chairs part) But then, I came across an old vid where Jiyong said that BB is like a Box or something. They are compose of 4 points (representing the members. He also said that he is not counted because He is the Leader.) So MAYBE, Im just being delulu or what, but Im grasping the hope of the 4+1 chair really did a part. They subtly hinting us. As you can see, the 4th chair were kind of broken as per the first chair too. (You also mention that, yes) If you look at it, Dae seated at the 3rd chair. As a BB stan for like forever, we know that it is always Top, YB, Dae, Seungri. Thats what I am holding onto. I am quite sure of it. (Hopefully 😭🙏🏼) Coz knowing BB, esp GD who (one of the) wrote this masterpiece (song) their mind are so amazing. There always a deeper meaning behind it. Always. For those who didn't know. This song was again, written by TOP and GD, as same for 95% of their songs since 2006. And GD can't accept the fact that they are coming back as Four individuals, so he requested that they would film separately. Because, as GD keeps repeating through the years: BIGBANG will always be a 5-member group. VIP since 2008 ❤️

4 wooden chairs with 1 chair damaged, representing T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung & Seungri and 1 director's chair for GD = 5 members. There's so many hidden messages within the MV itself. The umbrella GD was holding.. Seungri once said that GD gifted him a colourful painting only to pain black over it!! That umbrella was black on the outside and colourful on the inside... There's more so it's up to you to interpret the messages. I only wish them well... Oh, and so glad you're both back! Stay safe!

Mr Feb I have the same interpretation. Those 4 chairs are for 4 remaining members. Dae’s teaser photo was also the third to be released and he represents Fall that’s why he is the 3rd one. I dont wanna read too much into it coz obviously right now they are four, four flowers also, four seasons, even the bigbang reaction video of winner/ikon/treasure there was a spotlight for the 4 chairs. The empty four chairs represents that they are still together as a band but cant be together physically as they are in 4 different stages in their life now. The only Seungri reference for me is tye 5 line in the end. Bigbang will always be 5 but right now they are just 4.

You two do such a good job dissecting this video. However, I think this was a sort of good bye - they are getting older and realizing the passing of the torch to those they opened the door for. During Tabi's verse yiu could feel there's anger, resentment and pain in his voice and it took me a lot of rewatch before i could actually look back at him when he showed his face and look straight on the screen, i couldn't meet him eye to eye at first few watch, i feel like I don't deserve to even have a glance of him no matter how i longed to see him again, His verse is just too painful cuz that was his real story that a lot of people misinterpreted and misunderstood just because of what and how the media portrayed them as monsters....
