actually Bigbang hasn't always been on top. they didn't get popular until haru haru and lies era because in korean society they were an "ugly" group. after that Daesung and GD got into some pretty big controversies and they were on hiatus for quite a while. they lost a lot of "fans" because of this. but they came back with their Alive album and they were stronger more than ever. that's when they hit it off internationally and even won the MTV Italy Best Fan award in 2012. and they're career just skyrocketed from there. but no, sorry, they haven't always been on top. they worked really hard to get to where they are now. #Bigbang #VIP #FxxkIt #LastDance #Girlfriend
