The Made album was initially released as 4 separate single albums with each letter having 2 songs each. M - Loser and Bae Bae A - Bang Bang Bang and We Like 2 Party D - If You and Sober E - Zutter and Let’s Not Fall in Love This is why they promoted for like 4 months straight in 2015. Then in December 2016 they released the Full Studio Album with Fxxk It, Last Dance, and Girlfriend. It’s definitely a crazy release schedule and I’ve still never seen anything like it which is to me one of the many reason this album is so special and unique

"Last Dance" was the original goodbye, maybe we'll see you later song. It was our goodbye to TOP before he enlisted in the military. As a VIP, when this song came out, not knowing what the future was going to hold, this was gut-wrenching. The lyrics were so beautiful, too. These were and still are great songs. CLASSICS for the future generations.

It's nice to see you almost finished listening to all the songs from MADE. Yes, that era for MADE was amazing and historic, as all the songs became hits and topped the charts. I love how you already could feel the emotion of Last Dance as soon as GD opened the song and immediately paused to look for lyrics because you just had to know, LOL.

The MADE promo was so intense and extended partially if not mostly because getting GD to write new content was like pulling teeth. Yang Hyunsuk was pushing for a BB album in 2014, but GD was like “yeah if President Yang wants new songs he can write them himself” and between his own solo album and touring in 2013 and back to back world tours with the group he just wasn’t feeling it obviously, the guy was exhausted. They literally released like 2 new songs and went touring for MADE with maybe 2 more new songs way before the album itself was done, so to support the interest and keep the hype alive they treated every single release like a mini-album promo. The amount of shade GD was throwing left and right during that period was just… yeah, good times (no).

I didn't know that. I knew Fxxk, Last Dance and possibly Girlfriend were written later after the tour. His albums One of a Kind and Coup Detat were in 2012 and 2013, plus they were still riding high off the Alive album, and Taeyang had his year in 2014, plus Good Boy...so yeah Bigbang in 2014 would've been crazy. YG had Winner and iKON new on the scene in 2015.

"Girlfriend" is a different vibe from the other songs on the MADE album. Some people love it, others find it meme material due to the chorus. I actually really like it, but I also love most things BIGBANG push out. I suggest the "BIGBANG (live Encore) 2016 0.TO.10 in Seoul" stage as there are subtitles. For "We Like 2 Party", they were posting really funny reels on their IG back then and VIPs were so confused (but definitely amused). You can see TOP filming one of those reels when they were driving in the car, making faces at his phone.

@15:38 They started MADE series in April 2015. They released 1 mini album consisting 2 songs each month for 4 months (M, A, D, E). The full album was “supposed” to come out on the fifth month (which consists of all songs from the MADE mini album series plus new songs). It got pushed back due to schedules (at the time of releasing mini albums, they were also touring worldwide). MADE full album was eventually released after 1-1/2 years after the start of MADE series - released December 12, 2016. Zutter means Dope. Regarding Girlfriend ahhhh I dont wanna say anything and will just suggest you listen to it 😅😅😅 Overall, MADE album and MADE promo is an era Im so glad I witnessed!

Girlfriend is a good song but it's in an album surrounded by innovative amazing songs. It just gets lost in the shuffle. Also the response for the release of the songs were so positive the label delayed the album for a year to add more songs. So some of the songs were released in 2015 and some in 2016.

Girlfriend was one of the last songs released from this whole MADE album cycle. So not only was not promoted as much as a result, it also didn't have an MV, so it more or less fell by the wayside. I still like it (especially the live from their concert), but I do prefer all the other songs more at this point.
