Korea is corrupt, meaning rich people can get away with murder, and is one of the countries that has the worst gender inequality. Learn anything from meToo/Harvey Weinstein? Wasn’t there other celebs that also were forced to retire? There’s a difference between going thru trial and be pronounced innocent in a court of law, and having charges cleared due to whatever reasons (did they say why? Insufficient evidence? OJ Simpson anyone?) But by not going to trial, he lets himself be under this dark cloud the rest of his life. Perhaps still better than going to prison? You can still love a flawed person, but let that be a rational choice than a willful denial. He’s most likely spent every penny he has to bribe his way out of trial, avoid prison, and take the lesser punishment of retiring, VIPs can all go to hell for all he cares. So IDK why they still defend him really.
