TOP is actually the very first underground rapper to become a kpop idol. He was well known in the scene and performed under the name TEMPO, which is also why G-Dragon asked TOP to join YG Entertainment when they were scouting for candiates for a possible Boygroup.

His older live performance of act like nothing wrong actually caught his ceo's interest and that gave him his first chance for acting. Also, his solo in the group's albums are very emotionally heavy, even in GD&TOP(Oh mom). Despite his gangster act he's very sensitive and it showed in the raps in the other Bigbang songs. He did started as an underground rapper with the stage name TEMPO. his other earlier solo work is Big boy

TOP as an artist is all about subliminal messages and signs through his live stages and his music in general. The whole time he was performing he never left the top of the stage, he shows with his stance that he is indeed a Tower of Power. He only got down to get closer to his fans and show them how much he appreciates them by giving his all during those last moments of the performance and hitting VIP's with an adorable heart sign in the end. You just can't go wrong with him, he is everything good in the world and in the industry and we love him dearly!

He went from underground rapper to kpop idol and actor in one stone. Something most people have to wait a whole milestone of transitions to achieve. This man is a living testimony that some people are just a different breed. Also Bigbang are one of the only other group (the other being 2ne1) where their live performances far more exceed their studio versions

Dorian Gray chanel has a great performance of Obsession and She's gone by GDragon for his One Of a Kind tour Seoul 2013 . Fantastic . BigBang live is out of this world good . They kill it solo , duo , full group or any combination. I once stuble on an interview of an artist from I think Philippine I dont remember his name but judging by the comments he was big . He talked about how he went to a BigBang concert , in secret , because as a guy he would be made fun of for listening to kpop. He said at some point TOP took his glasses off an the entire audince screamed like crazy . He said that from that day it was his desire to have that charisma to just stay there on stage and just with a simple jesture make people go crazy .

Yes, the influence and impact of BIGBANG and it's members on other artists and on VIPs is a real thing. In fact, the longer that time flows forward, the more I see how magnificent they are. Nothing like BIGBANG. They shared so much of themselves during their active years that it was impossible not to love them.. and that love lingers and years for more.

I love reactions to this lol. I was lucky enough to see this concert live in Japan (and it wasn't my first time seeing Big Bang). Even after being a fan for years by that point and having seen them live before, I had to remind myself to physically close my mouth after TOP performed this. Like his presence altered the air in the venue in the venue it was insane. I don't think we've seen stage presence like this from a Kpop group since.

T.O.P is basically the daddy of todays deep hoarse voice of k-pop groups. Cause people with deep hoarse voice whom also attractive and could sing/rap and perform well on stages is rare.
