This is pretty random but I just really want to say something. I love G-Dragon, not just because he's an awesome rapper and a really cool guy, but because he also know's when to tone it down. He know's he's famous, sure, but he also knows when to stay out of the spot light and that really makes me respect him for that. I mean, GD, as not only the leader of Big Bang, but a solo artist as well, is very well known of course so many people's eyes would naturally land on him, but in this performance I really respect that he tend's to stay behind Taeyang or stay in the darker area's of the stage and only adding small adlibs every now and then to keep it interesting. Too many featured artists now-a-days try to make everything about themselves so this brings a genuine smile to my face.

However, as i learnt more about them, I eventually fall for him instead and it was all because of the little things that he does sub-consciously. The 90-degree bow to whoever, the fact that he doesn't try to steal the spotlight from his members in any interviews/ events/ shows, generously mentoring his juniors, shares his spotlight with others, very appreciative, humble, hardworking, helpful and considerate. Im not bragging but i think no one has ever surpassed bigbang yet when it comes to music in kpop. I mean, yeah, there are a lot of great kpop artist today but bigbang just another level. GD & Taeyang is by far my favorite sub unit that YG has ever created. They might have different charisma and vibe but together they really complement each other. G Dragon tends to make things heated up, but Taeyang has this breezy vibe that somehow makes GD seems and sounds more calm. It's really a perfect combination. GD and TOP is great too but both of them are.. I don't know how to say this more nicely but when those 2 perform, it's not exactly amazing. Like both of them looks like they're fighting to take leads of the song, they're just both TOO strong for each other. Taeyang is the perfect partner for GD. He's not perfect, but GD covered his lacking part and when GD tends to overdo things, Taeyang is always ready to take lead and make the whole song sounds perfect. It's like when you eat something so spicy (even though it does taste good) but at the end of the day you still need water to neutralize the taste in your mouth. GD's like the spicy thing and Taeyang is like the water. They complete each other perfectly.

+Weilun Pang I understand your point. I wasn't saying that GD & TOP are terrible or anything, I was just not feeling their sub unit. They made awesome rocking songs together but it's really distracting when it's just them on stage. TOP is a very strong rapper with an intimidating image and GD is way too strong to balance him off because he's G Dragon, you know? What do you really expect? Even when he's only for like 5 seconds on the stage, people will turn their heads for him because of his stage presence. When you put someone like GD on the same stage as this handsome talented rapper, people can't help but felt a bit of a confusion because there's just too many things going on. It'd better if TOP is having a sub unit with Seungri or Daesung. They'll be the perfect partner for him because he's unpredictable and they both will make the situation more smooth on stage.

I actually feel the same! While GTOP gives those killer and badass aura, GDYB is smooth and perfectly balance. I love how GD bring up the hype while Taeyang goes along with the melody- they are perfect combination!

+Namira Dila Exactly. GTOP are badass and they're so rocking full on swag but it really doesn't go well with each other, it's just too strong and it has no balance. Taeyang is always the one who can manage to control and sometimes take over the song when partnered up with GD and probably the only one in Big Bang who can be having the same attention as what GD is getting when they're both on stage. It's good that he's not overshadowing Taeyang at all and let him shine and it's also a good thing that Taeyang tends to makes GD's stage looks more balanced.
