I think it's one of those scenes that shows partially why the Sheldon role was so hard. A lot of the time the rest is allowed to laugh at all sorts of jokes, Penny's laugh is often in there as well, while Jim/Sheldon has to stay stoic. I've seen the outtakes of that scene and it's pretty obvious that Johnny and Kunal are just laughing their asses off while Jim isn't allowed to laugh.

The first clip of his Hawking impersonation is made even funnier when you know he was super nervous to do it because Hawking was there as a guest star, and Simon didn't want to offend him. After he did it, he turned to Hawking, gave him a little bow, and Hawking was visibly laughing.

Interesting how the writers made created more stories centring on Howard over both Leonard & Raj. Howard’s cousin the lawyer. Howard’s half brother. Howard going to space. Made all other adventures pale to insignificant. The government wrote to Howard about the gyroscope. Howard’s costumes stood out more. Sheldon, the Smurf. Howard’s tribute to Bernadette. Howard narrating D&D as in this video. The Howard character developed the most of the main cast. Sheldon didn’t understand humility until the final episode. Leonard didn’t develop & could have been written out of the show in the last 4 series. Raj never came out of the closet. Penny never let go of her acting dream. Bernadette just turned nasty. Amy just got overweight.
