I've finished watching TBBT yesterday and i've also watched Young Sheldon previous to that. I honestly don't understand why some poeple seem to hate Sheldon. Sure, he can be extremely self centered and childish, and he went too far a lot of the times, but that's literally the whole point. He's an extremely intelligent guy and he's obviously autistic. He doesn't understand how people feel, as he doesn't even understand how he himself feels. This is shown very clearly when his father dies in Young Sheldon. It's not that he didn't care, he just didn't know how to process his death and show to his family that he cared. Because he did care. The whole point of the character is that when your emotional intelligence is so low, and you're obviously neurodivergent on top of that, sometimes you can't help but be inconsiderate to others and selfish, not because you want to, but because you really don't know better. The reason why so many people love him, and the reason why i love him, is because, despite all his flows, he still manages to show how much he loves the people in his life. The same obviously goes for his family. He's not a bad person, he's just weird. And that's okay, bacause his friends are also pretty weird themselves. That's what makes the show so great. The characters are imperfect on their own, but perfect together. And that's why i love them.

The writers were getting real thin with ideas to keep the show's focus on Sheldon prior to this episode. Throwing this little story about "meals on wheels" would have worked in the early seasons while Penny was a waitress.

In addition to Sheldon's questionable tenant status that'll be brought up later in the episode, Sheldon also can't just name himself President of the Tenants' Association without a quorum of tenants present. No quorum, nothing can be done. It showed how much the tenants cared about governance, but then again, a Tenants' Association and its cousin Home Owners' Association are the scientific names for a group of Karens.

And he kept it secret that the tenants association wasn’t real so he could keep the power and nobody would question it. For a tenants' association to be legally recognized, it would need to follow certain procedures, such as holding meetings, drafting bylaws, and having a democratic process for electing officers. Sheldon's unilateral declaration wouldn't meet these criteria, so it wouldn't be considered a legal tenants' association in real life. The president of a tenants' association wouldn't have the authority to ban a street vendor. Such decisions typically fall under the jurisdiction of local government authorities or the property management company. Writters phoned this in. Just laying some facts... :)
