First 5 seasons are really solid. S6 is ok but it was obvious the show was wearing down and ideas were running low. Everything after that was bad. With the exception of shamy wedding and getting the Nobel nothing happened at all. It was painfully obvious everyone was on autopilot and not trying as hard. Just like Heroes, the quality was lowered season by season till we were grateful it ended

I was hoping that they would keep him an "asexual", let him be appalled by sex (and only do it for Amy's sake) but in the late seasons we see him even getting "a sexual drive" for Amy, turning this into a "oh you've never had sex but once you do, you won't be able to get enough of it" type of situation. Which I don't think goes together with his character at all... but oh well ._.
