I thought the book store scene was hysterical. Ironically, I think Sheldon would have made a good elementary school teacher. His social behaviors and things that frighten him is akin to how a child would feel, making him automatically empathetic towards a child whereas many adults will tell a child they're being silly for feeling that way. Sheldon validated Rebecca's fright of birds, and didn't talk down to her just because she's a child. Kids today need to be respected in that way!
