It seems to be pretty spot on but at the same time I don’t know if I believe it’s a La Niña. Anyway, my good friend I hope you’re hanging in there. It’s always a blessing when I get to hear from you. @@janiced7992 Janice I think I told you my mom was raised in Redondo Beach and went to Redondo Beach high school so that whole area is very close to her heart from there all the way up to PV. It is devastating but I’ll be willing to bet you a lot of these residents who don’t have anything anymore are gonna finally head east because why would you want to rebuild here in California? It might be beautiful in some areas, but who the heck would wanna do that. I guess just be prepared for an exodus of Californians coming into Vegas.

Since I don’t have much experience at that restaurant, that’s why I don’t talk about it too often, but I always tell everybody on the channel just because I might not think something is the best doesn’t mean that you won’t. Again that place gets amazing reviews and I can see why I just never seem to drop in there much. Hope you’re having a good start to your week here. That’s why the drives up Big Bear are so welcome! A bit of home , growing up in So California, we’d go for afternoon drives up to Big Bear 🐻 My dad loved it up there. And having 5 kids we took long drives for entertainment. With 5 kids it was hard to afford anything other than camping, and drives, and McDonald’s 😂😂😂. I will return to Big Bear sometime, when who knows but it’s on my bucket list. My sister still lives in Escondido. My mom is 96 living in a care home in Rancho Bernardo. I was home in 2018, when my father died. Then there was the pandemic and now dealing with dementia…….. but I still have family in the area. And you know what I think we got really lucky the night before those Santa Ana winds got crazy over a week ago we got that little bit of snow which I think may have protected our area a little bit but next week we have another round in store. Only warm sunny frosty mornings. But it seems like the polar vortex is hitting us soon, and a jet stream is seen for February. Just wanted to share what our city is going through right now. @@craigosterberg5045 wow Craig you’re going to a beautiful area. My grandfather on my mom side lived in Carmel for his last maybe 40 years of his life. It was a pretty spectacular situation. But that Grandpa was not really anything to write home about. My other grandpa was my favorite but my whole point is you’re gonna be in such a beautiful area and I wish I was there to go play some golf at Pebble Beach.

@@TheJuancristobal1000 Juan it’s biblical what’s happening in Los Angeles, bro I just can’t believe it. I never thought that was possible kind of like Maui. I never thought that whole area of Lahaina could burn like that. I just can’t imagine what these families are going through and so many of those people have been living in those areas for 40 or 50 years when some of these areas were not expensive at all and as more famous people started moving in it, raised the property values to a ridiculously affordable rate, but all these people who owned property there before all of the Increase in value have or at least had a huge cap gain. And now that most insurance companies dropped these people within a month or two of this major fire happening. It’s one of the most unbelievable situations I’ve ever experienced. My heart completely breaks for these people.

What a difference a year makes. I remember watching your car get buried several times in January and February 2023 and last winter. Those were awesome. Over here in Flagstaff, Arizona, 2022-23 was historically snowy, and 2023-24 great. But, so far 2024-25 has been historically dry. Fortunately the dew points have been low and air chilly enough to crank up the snow machines on the local resort. But the mountains look odd when the only visible snow is on the ski slopes and not on the Peaks. We need the natural stuff. Anyway.. Praying for a miracle for Socal and the Southwest. 🙏. This could end up as a great back ended season, with a snowy February/March. I like your optimism for the rest of the season. And support for the locals 👍👍 God bless

It is such a similar situation for us and on the weather patterns were very much affected similarly Let me ask you I know this is gonna sound weird, but if my wife and I ever get a chance to actually take some time off and get a chance to come out to Arizona because with my business, which has nothing to do with my KZbin channel with my business and my wife’s Airbnb cleaning company, we have such a struggle to find The proper help people who are responsible and can do the job right so that’s why we never leave because we can’t afford to have anybody screw up any of our business but if we ever made our way out there, would you be opposed to having dinner with us or lunch or something like that? I hate to say it, but I don’t think it’s gonna be a great weekend if you’re looking for snow we don’t have anything in the forecast and it is supposed to warm up a little bit so what we have right now is going to be melting and it’s not gonna take much to melt this remaining snow away. But you can still enjoy yourself coming up here and bringing the kids just being in the cooler. Winter temperatures is also a wonderful feeling and for many youngsters it’s a feeling that they will remember for the rest of their lives, but of course it’s the snowfall that everyone wants.

@@danskyadventures hey Dansky I do I can’t promise you, but I really do think on some of those dirt roads up there especially because a lot of area over by Holcomb is shaded pretty well so yes I do think you’ll find some decent spots up there and if you are going to head up there no matter what maybe let me know when you go. @@deborahmolette1496 Deborah, my heart is right there with you and what you’re trying to do these people need so much and need everybody to be there for them. I really think the California Exodus is going to continue in a very, very heavy flow Why on earth would these people want to rebuild in that area especially seeing how the government handles things. It’s really sad. I bet you a lot of of these people end up leaving in California and taking their tax dollars elsewhere. Can you imagine having to be completely uprooted like this? It’s absolutely devastating and I just really wish some sort of a break for these people. This is a disaster of biblical proportions.

@@deborahmolette1496 again, Deborah you’re right we do need to do everything we can regarding continuing to think about them. I’m a firm believer in the law of attraction and when things have been going in my life it’s because that’s all I’m focusing on is positivity and visualizing and feeling myself in the positions in life where I want to be and literally the next thing you know, I wake up one day and I look around and I tell myself holy moly. I’m here I did it, and I still have a long way to go, but I believe the prayers and the law of attraction are super important I know for the people who just lost everything. They’re probably at least most of them not too thrilled about just prayers. They probably want a ton of money to help rebuild their lives, but in the meantime, if we can try to help them to come to acceptance and then start rebuilding that I think will be getting on the right path. It’s very very odd. The politicians in California and this is my home state I come from Newport Beach. I’ve lived here all my life other than three years at rehab and substance facilities in Colorado and Utah and I lived one year in Hawaii. But California is at my everything. It’s really really sad to see what this place has become, but you know what I don’t think it’s too late. I think we can find some leadership who really does care about the state and can also do all the right things in terms of the social stuff as well. There is a way to make everybody happy in California. Deborah, I know you’re a wonderful person and keep on doing what you’re doing

Unfortunately, I don’t have any of the merchandise here. The only way I was able to get this merchandise store started was because this company will create everything once people order it and I couldn’t afford to spend $10,000 or more to have a little bit of all of our merchandise. So unfortunately, it’s kind of an issue because I want to be able to meet up with people and hand them their stuff personally. But another good friend from the Channel his name is Jim. I’d like to brag about him. He’s one of the people who designed and built the Mandalorian for Star Wars and other huge major movie props. The guys had such an impact on humanity, but he purchased a hoodie, not more than three or four days ago and he sent me a picture today of him wearing his new hoodie and his new coffee mug. But I’m super sorry about that but maybe leave me a comment when you’re in town and if I have a second just to meet up to give you a handshake that would be great too, but I’d rather have the merchandise than a handshake from me lol

But even all the way up till January 29, I don’t see anything in the forecast. My friend, who is the town’s local meteorologist says he thinks that the very end of the month and early February there could be some changes. But for right now, I still don’t see anything. I don’t have any confidence. Again, we really want you to come up here and really have a great time with your family or if you just coming by yourself but again, unfortunately I don’t see anything in the forecast but stay in touch with me Leave a brand new comment in a few days asking me again and hopefully I will have some different potential for you

@@bradscott1930 hey Brad good to hear from you, man if you’re getting one of those places behind Vons, that’s one of the nicer exclusive private neighborhoods up here and yes, depending on where the house is located it is gonna be fairly close to the fireworks but if you know where the Pines restaurant and Tavern is located maybe two blocks down from the village on the lake side of things usually right in front of there is where they light the fireworks, but depending on where your staying exactly in that neighborhood, you could have some pretty spectacular views, dude And again, what a nice neighborhood that’s one of the neighborhoods that I would love to live in because it’s got a security gate to drive through. It’s just very private when you’re driving down Big Bear Blvd. most of the time you don’t even realize that it’s there cause it has such a high wall and I like it.

I sure hope so man and on record February is the snowiest month in this area however, for the decade that I’ve lived here January has been the snowiest month but according to all the records on average February is the snowiest month so you have a really good chance and technically March is the second snowiest monthso we just gotta keep our fingers crossed and I hope you get a bunch of snow when you cruise up here
