Amen to that Jackie. After living here at 8 1/2 years, I Sometimes find myself taking it for granted and I’m really trying to fight myself when I’m feeling like that. I never thought I would ever say this but I sometimes miss living at the beach. Of course the beach is beautiful who wouldn’t want to live there, but Newport Beach is so much different than it was 15 to 20 years ago. It just seems like a different world. It doesn’t have the same luster it used to. I feel like my hometown is no longer my hometown.

Nichole I absolutely love you and love hearing from you my friend you are such a wonderful friend to me Thank you for everything and that’s a great question. That’s a great question. So as far as I’m concerned, and this is just being 100% honest, I don’t think there’s any place in big bear that’s not beautiful but if you compare big bear to other big mountain ranges, I would probably take the other mountain ranges over big bear I don’t know if that answers your question at all but technically, I don’t see any ugly parts of Big Bear at least not the topography lol. It’s a really wonderful, beautiful place especially because it’s just a hop skip and a jump away from the big city so you can go from the concrete jungle to Paradise in an hour I hope you’re having a wonderful day my friend

@@bigbearweatherandmore6621 Hi, Nik! I appreciate your honest answer. I live in a mountainous area, but I've always be fascinated by the Rockies. Through your videos, I see that the Sierra Nevadas are also beautiful! Thanks for all you do, my friend! 💖
@bigbearweatherandmore6621 Жыл бұрын
@@ndean1687 it’s my pleasure Nichole. I love mountains so much but as I said if I had the choice I’d probably choose most of not all other mountain ranges and the main reason is I like feeling like I’m in a huge giant mountain range like when I used to live in Colorado and Utah it was great because it would take you forever to drive through the mountain range and literally if this mountain range had a road that went straight up to the top and back down on the other side it would take you 20 minutes at the most because you would only be driving up at 7000 feet and straight back down there’s just not much of a mountain range here it’s just a blip. So that’s my issue with the area is that it’s just not far enough in the wilderness if that makes any sense I know some people might think my answer is crazy, but I’m just being honest. If I could be sponsored to do this channel and have a job up in the lake, Tahoe area or in the Rockies somewhere or in the Wasatch or something I would definitely jump on that in a heartbeat

Are you kidding me? That’s nothing that’s the shortest drive ever but now that I’ve been living here eight years and one day, I can see what they are talking about because it has become a much longer journey then when I first moved up here. @bigbearweatherandmore6621 Жыл бұрын
No, I just decided to take it down myself because people were getting the wrong idea. When I initially got the call from my friend, I could hear the scanner in the background and they were saying that they removed three people and it seemed like they were OK and so when I got there, I was just recording the empty airplane, talking to my landlord, and we were having a conversation and people thought it was very inappropriate I would’ve never ever laughed or done anything like that knowing the situation but I wasn’t laughing at the situation, though I was talking to my landlord assuming everyone was OK and they were just going to recover the airplane so some people got really upset about it. And I know there are people out there who need to find something to be offended by every single day but I just don’t need that. I’m trying to be helpful that’s all I’m trying to do for people. And that’s amazing so they were probably coming in from Idaho my friend that’s just horrifying I mean absolutely horrifying it’s giving me nightmares without being asleep the pain that these families must be going through right now. That is a nice area! Probably super expensive. I guess I better buy a lottery ticket (and win, haha). People probably move up there for the same reason you love it - it's open and quiet. So, if we all buy houses up there, it'll be crowded. LOL What did that guy say besides "What are you filming?" Since we couldn't see his face or attitude, your reaction makes me think he wasn't nice. Just a thought, I'm wondering if he was feeling protective. Not to completely defend him, but some people might drive through looking for places to break into. Still, he shouldn't assume the worst. What if you were a millionaire looking to live there, or coming to visit a friend? He would get a better reaction if he's nice. Congratulations to the winner of the 3-day stay! And I doubt that particular neighborhood wants any publicity that is not generated from among their ranks, so to speak. In my modest neighborhood, there are convicts routinely inspecting yards and cars for goods to steal, and for insecure homes etc. A more sophisticated fool might attempt burglary where the shotguns over the mantle are loaded for bear, even for really big bear ; ) Why fools and their oxygen are soon parted!
