H.E.R. is literally one of my top 10 favorite artists of all time. Especially in this period of my life as a young woman. When she was talking about how her music helped people in so many ways. It has helped me too. She does inspire me in her interviews of what she talks about and how passionate and authentic it is. I only got to see her once in concert and it wasn't enough time with how the concert was set up with multiple artists in a set of however many minutes, and she only had approximately 25 minutes. I hope to see H.E.R. again with a concert, meet and greet, and backstage pass, or whatever it is to have a conversation with her and get to know her more as a human being.

She is an old soul and grew up listening to the classics. I see her with the timeless music like Maxwell and his Urban Hang Suite album. I am 35 and did not have the half of the same focus as her at the young age she is. H.E.R. has that cool vibes like the late Aaliyah with her style and the realness & vulnerability like Mary J Blidge. It is good that she is not doing the typical blueprint of the female artist who is stuck on the looks without the talent to back it.
