This is so much fun! One of my hobbies is learning synonyms, so I appreciate having the words organized in such categories. I hope everyone else can enjoy this, too. Thank you.

Made a poem out of some of the words in this video. I was parsimonious with your love. I had hoped the podigit amount of mine would be enough to hold you. I guess I wasn't frugal enough. My love left in posity and unglued. I am left nominal. Ever longing for your munificents. Left in an acrid emotional fall. I vilify myself with contempt. You are the bane of my loneliness. I truly do revere you. Maybe I just have a predilection for hopelessness. In the end the affinity I thought we had simply wasn't true. I promise to work on my nihilism. Looking towards altruism.

Me too. I bought them at borders. I have a few series of them. I thought I was smart, for transferring the programme onto my minidiscs. Then the minidisc standard was dropped and I could not buy a replacement Mini disc player!

I revere this educational programme and I have the cassettes which I last bought at Borders. This word smart audiobook contains a prodigious amount of words which you could use in a plethora number of situations. However I have antipathy towards the last two sections starting with Park and Rides. The words presented there are abstruse and too recondite for me. I am totally bemused. The tone of the speakers sounded inane and could not coalesce with the rest of the chapters. My cassettes were not inert and have oxidised considerably. I am thankful to the altruistic uploader for sharing this programme.

Carolyn Flanigan Click on the video so that it pops up the pause / play screen, and look for three vertical dots in one of the corners (maybe top right). Then, click on that, and you should see "Captions", and simply enable them from there.

For better comprehension, you definitely could use the automated subtitles. The speakers' diction is so clear that there're not very many mistakes in them. Combined with the word list from Jari S below (thanx a lot for it, btw) you'll be able to check your understanding of the audio. Sorry, I can't help impersonating Captain Obvious these days somehow. ))
