I used to work at a Chipotle like ten years ago, tips would always get evenly split with all the staff at end of shift. I cannot tell you how many times that tip jar saved my life by providing me with gas money to get home and come back to work the next day. Thank you for being generous, I am positive you lifted the weight off of some of those workers shoulders.

I'm a VERY generous tipper most of the time, but in California a fast food worker makes $20 an hour and the prices went up accordingly. I don't tip on top of that for getting me my burger and fries. A restaurant or something where there is additional service...20% minimum.

I worked at bar along time ago. I chased Thek guy into the parking lot that took our jar. I was taking construction equipment out of their truck until I was given the jar back.
