I used to work at a Chipotle like ten years ago, tips would always get evenly split with all the staff at end of shift. I cannot tell you how many times that tip jar saved my life by providing me with gas money to get home and come back to work the next day. I'm a VERY generous tipper most of the time, but in California a fast food worker makes $20 an hour and the prices went up accordingly. I don't tip on top of that for getting me my burger and fries. A restaurant or something where there is additional service...20% minimum.
