I did something like this once after a Mets game in the late 80’s. My dad got luxury box tickets via work so when we exited the stadium it was where the players exit so I told my brother to ask for my autograph and tell people I was Mets rookie John Mitchell. Before I knew it there were dozens of fans around me asking me to sign hats, gloves, balls, sneakers. And there was an actual Mets pitcher, Jeff Innis, about twenty feet away from me and nobody was bothering him.

Laughed and then called the cops and the head guy to give him a lifetime ban. They all could have just told him to leave nicely and if he was caught again get the perma ban.
