I’ve been watching this “giving away”-type videos of dawson for too long and I gotta say that as an Italian I’m actually impressed about people’s reaction. Since these type of videos are also about people’s reaction, here’s one fun thing I feel like sharing; Just a social curiosity, nothing else. I’ve always thought that americans are way more socially open and friendly than us in Italy, but it is incredible that after a gift like that from a stranger, people just say “thanks” like “meh ok, I’ll take it”. The fun fact is that in Italy you would probably have troubles opening the conversation (if you don’t state clear intent about why you’re approaching the person when talking to someone on the street, some people would be weirded out easily), but once the conversation it’s on and once someone accepts a gift like that from you, they would never let you go without giving back. Even if it is just a coffee or something. It’s just a thing I noticed that I found interesting about human behaviour in different countries. Btw cool vid as always D.
