How comes theres so many people there? I'm from UK so am confused... what kind of people go to College Basketball games or is it a big thing in US? Also, how does it work if these kids want to play in NBA.. do they just play ball for a few years and hope to get picked up?

Joe Slater college basketball and college football are absolutely huge in the US. It's like they are professional sports teams where you cheer for the big college near you or the college you/your parents went to. Some college football stadiums have over 100,000 seats!!

yes college ball is very popular here in the states. anybody who is good enough to get a scholarship or walk on can play college basketball. obviously the majority of the players will not make it to the NBA but obviously this is where a lot of people get their opportunity to prove how good they are.
