Whats wrong with abusing mechanics in a competetive game? Dont u use most meta guns in ur shooter games or picking the most broken heroes and buying most meta items in ur moba? Even irl football teams abuse their players strenghts, if some team have a tall guy in attack they cross, if they have quality players they pass the ball around and search for a good chance, if they have impregnatable defense like mourinho's inter they sit back and counterattack, if they have fast and fit players they play high and press, everybody abuses something

Man I think I subscribed to your channel last year and let me tell you, this formation of yours is quite something. I was about to give up on the game and I’ve decided to use your 352 for the first time (also first time I’ve ever used a back 3 formation in this game), followed all the instructions and guides you provided and boi if it did wonders. I’m now in div 2 and Makelele/Gattuso have been incredible in that “fake” CB position. I know I am late to the party, but I wanted to come here to thank you. I've read every post you've shared in reddit about EAFC24 and tried the tactic you shared on one of the comments. Omg, what a difference! I started testing in SB on Legendary difficulty, and never seen Legendary AI this vulnerable against my attacks and defence. I was already beating 3/4 games on Legendary but even 33 chem 96 rated teams cannot create easy opportunities around the box. They can only score from bouncing balls or corners. Later, I've tested in Rivals and Champions and I have beaten 7-8 teams out of 10 games I've played where most players where clearly more skilled or experienced than me. 1 games my connection was gone and were playing better than the other team. I've played EFootball (or Konami's W11) for years and just got FIFA 3 months ago and was able to reach Div 3 watching great tutorials and reading reddit posts like yours. This tactic is incredibly strong as I can attack with 6 players and defend 7 players, and most of my opponents rage quit the games because they cannot do anything about it. Almost every game my opponents starts snubbing me for playing 3 in the back and try to run one winger all the way and by the time they even understand my tactic I am leading 3-4 goals ahead and they stop just to see my tactic. I used 3-5-2 to hide my original tactic and play mostly 3-4-2-1 with wingers on come back defense (esp. players with work rate H/H like Raphinha & Navas). Currently I play with: GK (97 Martinez) - CB (95 Maguire - 94 Rijkaard - 95 Hincapie) - CM (96 Raphinha - 97 Rodri - 98 KDB - 97 Navas) - CAM (97 Dybala) - ST (95 Sorloth - 97 Pele (or 97 Kaka)) I've so many great players I cannot fit into my team rn but most important positions for me are CB, LM & RM and CF (Pacey good dribbler I've 96 Werner, 98 Smith, 97 Kaka, 96 Wegh, 97 Gakpo and 97 Williams). 96 RVP is also another great option for LM as he has 90 Defence but for some reason his work rate is M on defence. This tactic is incredibly strong against meta 4-3-2-1 and High Depth tactics. What I do differently than yours is my Depth is 100 and almost all game my players have full stamina as I simply stall the opponent when losing the ball so that my wingers come back and can defend with 7 players and it drives them crazy. 3 CBs also help me to second man press and be aggressive and step up with one CBs when needed. I used Rijkaard mainly because he has tiki taka + which I believe very important for using him to bounce the ball back and create triangles around him. Other players I've tried were Koemann, Marquez and Fabinho but he seems to be the best for my case but Koemann is also another great option as his attacking skills are amazing for a defender. This tactic is great in many aspects: 1) Defending 7 Attacking 6 2) Almost always there is one player open on one of the wings (For me Raphinha & Sorloth combo is perfect because I generally attack from the right and switch to left and Sorloth wins the header and through passes to Raphinha which is a pacey player with Power Shot and it is so effective on the wings. Another case is when I build up from the right and do L1+Cross there is always one player available for header.) 3) On the cutbacks you have many options, recycle, cross or ping pass to center which makes opponent to commit to one or two so that you can exploit the other option 4) During the build up and counter attacks you have at least 2 people around the ball holder so you can create triangles or 1-2s easily and create great spaces for through balls 5) Even against high press there is almost always a passing option. It is much easier to build up through the defence (Almost every player I played used high pressure tactic within the first 60mins of game since they cannot get the ball and ended up using their stamina and make my job even easier) I've been playing soccer for almost 30 years and this is how I play and coach as well. Honestly, I don't see why pro teams play with 4 in the back. RWBs and LWBs make the game much more fun. I've started enjoying games even if I lose (esp sweaty Champs games), which is either because I missed many opportunities around the box or my opponent was clearly better player. I don't know how much to thank you and the original post with the tactic. I was playing with 3 defence on EFootball and cutback exploitation in this game made me believe I need at least 4 defenders until I tried this tactic and what a difference it made. Now I can see why pros cannot use 3 or 5 cb tactics. Thank you so much!!

You could remove join the attack and have more players come back if you want to close it out with this tactic. But i usually keep the same and pass the ball around my opponents box to close it out. Alot easier to pass it around there while still looking to score another goal if possible.

first time ive seen one of your videos and i really liked it. im preaching since forever that players shouldnt look for "meta" and just copy tactics etc but rather learn what suits them ( but well, imho 90% of the community are bad / merchants ). i play since 2003 and always on a high level, past years for example i was using a mostly gold squad until tots with just players that suit my playstyle ( f.e. If it’s between a defensive/offensive i prefer a winger, but it possible an all around. I did use malcom there for a while. 2) More than possible, just remove one of the wide players on come back. The furthest CB on the other side will go out as a wide player. The reason i have them both on top of the reasons in the video, is that i pull CB out of position intentionally ALL the time to press. This makes it so i still keep a back four.

Played the 3421 with success. It’s slightly more direct seeing as you don’t have the CAM as bridge from the midfield to the attack, but it’s alot of fun. Will be trying out the 3-4-3 during the weekend.

I've tried this with Yaya as the middle CB. Worked great for the first 29 mins or so. Then after that he keeps switching with the lcb and rcb. Then he doesn't get forward and neither do the player occupying cb. Have you had this issue?

You could try putting him at play as striker, might make it more consistent. Can also be you’re playing a bit to quick for him to join. If you’re immediatly looking to attack score/shoot he won’t show up as he has a long way to run. I usually notice him when i’ve recycled the ball in my opponents half.

understanding what kind of style i play, then what that style requires for it to be playable. For example, i play slow possesion and passing. That means i need many options in many areas. So a 4-3-2-1 won't work cause it's to direct.
