In 2018, I ordered a new Bigfoot truck camper to my specifications, and after 6 years of use, I still wouldn't want anything else. Not only is the two-piece molded fiberglass design much more durable and trouble-free than the thin aluminum tubing/laminated designs of most others, but the attention to detail and quality of materials is what really stands out. And no problematic rubber roof that will need constant maintenance and repairs! Things like the neat and tidy wire runs inside the cabinets, plumbing holes drilled exactly where the plumbing was intended to be, the solid thud you here when shutting cabinet doors, and the tight fit of trim that still has not come off as in some other RVs at this age. The Bigfoots don't have all the fluffy glitter and cool techy lights that many of the American brands have, but these will outlast them by a factor of 2 or 3. One of the reasons the prices are so high.

Well said and I couldn't agree more! I stopped by the big RV show in Hershey PA about a month ago, on my way to the Bigfoot dealer in Apex, North Carolina. The prices on some of these rigs with all the fancy gadgets, and high gloss finishes etc., was just nuts. I stepped into 1 travel trailer, only because the actual designer of the trailer asked me in. He lifted up the Queen bed to show me the storage under the bed, the bed was sitting on a piece of 3/8 plywood with 3 hinges, and he used 2 inch drywall screws on the hinges, meaning 1 1/2 of the screw was totally exposed, waiting for its first victim like a rattle snake. I can honestly say, there wasn't a single trailer at the show that I would have bought, the broken pieces, loose joints, misaligned doors, and on and on. Went to the Bigfoot dealer the next day, they had 2 rigs outside, and they were absolutely flawless, inside & out. I'm filling out my order for a 25 foot twin right now, and can't wait to get my hands on the new girl LOL! Happy travels Freetoroam!!!

@frogzilla9186 Congratulations on becoming a Bigfoot member! Although I have one of their tuck camper models, I do think their trailers are the best looking of all trailer brands. The chasis height and body proportions before and aft of the wheels is near perfect asthetically. And if you chose the synthetic leather option, rest assured it's the good stuff. Not the crap you hear about with the other brands, where you have to repair the furniture after a couple of years due to pealing issues. My leather still looks new after six years! And no screws poking out where they shouldn't be. Plus, the Bigfoots won't be all dented up like an Airstream after 10 years, or need a roof replacement, which helps resale value. Enjoy your new Bigfoot!

I like this line better than the Oliver for us. A bit bigger and more storage with the tongue box for longer trips. Curious how much solar or solar prep is offered.

We are looking at the twin bed model with the same recliners as the one your showing . We also will go with 12 volt fridge and tankless water heater . We love the build of these units . The model you are showing the front storage is an option as well as the recliners . We hear they hold their value really well .

Nice review! I looked at one of these about 8 years ago when we were shopping for a tt. . I was familiar with the brand from our slide-in truck camper days. They were top drawer. At that time they did not have the nose enclosure but everything else was basically the same. They are built very well & the price reflects it. As you stated they are an upgraded Indiana type RV. I was looking for something with a slide though, which ruled this and the Airstream out. They are very nice units.

That thing looks like it is an RV from the 70s or 80s. That black tank looks like it will leave 1 inch of waste after draining given the location of the dump connection. IDK about this one.

Good walk-thru. A couple of things, The interior headroom is 6'4", not 6'6". Your weights and measurement page you showed in the beginning of your video showed this. The bed is not a true queen. It's only 74" long. A residential queen is 80" long, so for us taller people that bed might need to be replaced. You missed that there is a large storage area underneath the bed, which is on hydraulic lifts for easy access. These are very well built trailers. True 4 season. They make another floor plan with a table and bench seating for 4 instead of the 2 theatre seating in this one. Much more room.

That’s a very nice little unit. A lot of very thoughtful quality touches in it. Really like how they laid it out for a no slide couples unit. Like that axel capacity equals GVWR. I do find it very odd that they have a switch panel for a generator when none is installed and a space to put one wasn’t immediately apparent. The rear storage wasn’t obviously prepped to hold one for example. At this price point I’d like to see better drawer construction and stuff like soft close drawer slides. I’d also like to see an upgraded equalizer standard. I’d also like to see 50A service even with only the one AC as with everything on it’s easy to overload a 30A circuit.

Besides obvious of what a really good quality build that this brand is! They put everything conveniently located where you can access it easily if it needs to be serviced! If you go and look at other manufacturers they are not doing this. You're literally having to rip apart your whole entire trailer so they can access critical units to service them!! There is no forethought whatsoever to later repairs. However in sharp contrast when you look at a Bigfoot not only have they gone above and beyond what's required. They have thought about all of these things which tells me that they had a group of designers and people working at this factory who actually understand what someone needs and requires in a trailer!! That's going to last long-term. There's a huge difference between a quality RV like a Bigfoot versus the garbage that American companies are currently turning out based off of some joint venture capitalist movement that's gone awry. The amount of headaches that you inherit when you buy something other than a good RV it's simply not worth it. I've been researching for the last 15 years! I also follow other KZbin creators who are working with RV owners to try to get them repaired. You'd be shocked how many people have spent $1.2 million dollars or more on a top of the line US-made RV with someone's name on it and guess what?? It is a piece of junk! This hasn't just happened to one lone person that got in touch with somebody who helps RV owners. No I've seen this happen to multiple people across the board regardless of how much they spent! There is no pride in terms of the production or product that they're turning out. Versus every single time. I've talked to an owner of a Bigfoot travel trailer They have been thrilled they've only had minor repairs that have been needed. You're going to do repairs on anything that you own folks. The difference is truly night and day in terms of ownership. ❤

I do see problems popping up and the industry can always do better but… we’ve had our American made unit for nearly 8 years. Besides a faulty valve from the factory, a few trim pieces and cheap Lippert furniture we haven’t had any issues. I think some would be surprised at the amount of happy folks out there. KZbin loves drama posts/videos and some folks thrive on that fact. The truth lies in the middle somewhere.
