The green swamp is where I saw a skunk ape too. I was moving to my boyfriend's home in Lakeland from Defuniak Springs. I didn't even know the Green Swamp existed until I saw the sign. It's a pretty big place, and it was scary. It was early evening, so, just getting twilight. I was driving along some old wooden fence, and low and behold, there was a bigfoot. It was just bent over resting it's forearms on the top of the fence. Kind of reminded me of an auto mechanic leaning over the edge of a car engine. It didn't move as I drove. I know that it saw me. Maybe it thought I didn't see it, since I didn't slow down. Right as I drove by I started screaming in excitement because, I JUST SAW A BIGFOOT! About 30 minutes later, I pulled into the driveway of my new home. I told my boyfriend, but, of course, he didn't believe me.

With all due respect to the submitter, I am trying to understand how the man who got upset that his dogs were acting afraid and upset ... why on earth would you not recognize that animals and dogs especially are amazingly astute and if they are upset you SHOULD PAY ATTENTION! Plus you should not be allowing them to engage with bears. They are likely to get very injured or killed. They are not canon fodder and need to be protected.
