You really can't judge legitimacy in that way, sadly. While this "game" is undeniably a scam, the sad reality is that the executives of basically every company all type like that. If you saw the emails I received, daily, from the company that I work for, you'd be shocked. You'd expect major corporation executives to be able to string a coherent sentence together, but that simply is no longer the case.

People on E2 must be rich people. Imagine buying a 60 dollar game than having to pay for the campaign multiplayer and zombies or whatever gamemode. Than when you purchase that you have to buy the gamemodes/mission within the campaign and multiplayer and thennn. Pay for the maps to even play thennn pay for the class setups. After all of that you have to pay for the guns and equipment inside of the class setups. imagine all of this inside something that isnt even a running game yet and still a website/app on google maps

I went to the earth two Facebook group yesterday a lot of posts about a countdown to them releasing the ability for you to name the land you have bought for a additional fee (of course) but even worse people were commenting in asking why the timer was different in other time zones and that some of them looked at the countdown went away for several hours logged back in and the timer was Nearly identical IE it had not counted down They can’t even make a countdown to X time and day yet we are meant to believe they will create a game that will make world of Warcraft and other mmos look tiny in comparison

The point Shane ignored is exactly the point of this game. It creates a big Fear Of Missing Out for interested gamblers. It incentivizes people to throw money at them in fear that when this game will be "released" everything will be overpriced so they have to invest early. A very well masked ponzi scheme to be honest. One of the more complex scams I've seen in a long time. They promise the Earth, but offer nothing. They just count on the crypto hype and have people believe this will be some kind of expensive digital asset thing in the future, probably similar to NFTs, but more useless.

My biggest problem is their promo vid shows their 10m2 tiles spread over the globe. In E2, its on a mercator projection, but the same size tiles at the equator as at the poles. Problem with this is that a tile in northern alaska ends up being about 2m square while a tile on the equator is 20m2. A tile on a pole would be infinitely small.
