in my tweens before i got medicated for some pretty severe depression, i'd always see or imagine scary figures in the dark kinda like in nyctophobia :[ i'd have terrible nightmares all night for nights on end, including sleep paralysis and false awakenings and lucid dreaming where i was aware i was in a dream but couldn't control anything or wake myself up. that was a freaky game for me to watch even though it's so short!

Your opening is really meaningful. Seeing your humanity and vulnerability helps me to have the courage to be vulnerable as well. I have been living with multiple sclerosis, PTSD, major depression, anxiety and the many other things my traumatic childhood contributed too. I am at a low point with my mental health right now. My doctor is aware and so are all my safe people. We have plans for when my conditions flare up or trigger. I am alive today because I learned the best ways so far to prevent myself from dying. I am alive today because I have cultivated healthy and growth oriented with loving and safe people. I found ways to contribute and volunteer and reach out. I found joy in being in nature with my daughters, I find meaning to enrich my life with more each day. Walking through hell can be worth getting to heaven.

As someone who as had a unexplainable fear of the dark since childhood, I can say the last game portraited such fear very well. Even when I'm aware of what's around me, the fact that I cant see any of it brings me disconfort and anxiety. Despite this fear, it's ironic how horror is my favourite genre

I love how in this community you can start with the deepest mental problem you have had and than two sentences later sound like you are fully healed and up to play some games. I also like the idea of a game where you are suspicious of something during the entire play through but at the end it turns out that everything is normal. I wish everyone a good morning/day/evening and night. Would be interesting to know how other people from this community enjoy this content the most, for me, i am sitting in my room late night outside ambiance and a single pretty weak warm light turned on. I would love to hear about other people.

I personaly also have an anxiety problem and although i didn't really know what causing it i figur out that feeling alone might be one of the reason. So i brough a cat instead. So far it's not really that bad but i think i will seek help someday. Either way i really like the way you start your video and i wis your life is going well :)

I'm in a similar boat with anxiety. But for many people, the problem isn't reluctance to seek help, it's the deeply broken healthcare system. Where I live, free therapy has a three-year waiting list. Or I can pay $300 a session. I can't afford that during a cost of living crisis. In addition, I have found it challenging to find therapists knowledgeable in the issues I face. I've also had a lot of bad mental health professionals. I read a study stating the 1# reason people don't seek help is not reluctance, stigma, or fear, it's cost and accessibility. Even alternatives like CBD, weighted blankets, and etc cost a lot of money most people don't have. I'm struggling to afford soap and toilet paper right now. I've found some solace in headphones, grounding exercises, and fidget toys ... but it would be so much easier to heal within a better system.

This is a very good point. For me, I had access to my schools counseling and psychiatry at the time so I can only speak to my personal experience. Since becoming an adult though, there have been very large gaps in my therapy experience due to the reasons you mentioned, as where I live the healthcare system is disgraceful as well
