We'll supposedly have some new animations in 4.0, but I think Hoyo realized with Klee that if they give her special walking animation, they'd have to start giving it to every single character, including others such as sitting, running, gliding, etc. They should've done it from the beginning, since now it's too late if of course someone in the studio doesn't get really excited.

no they dont? they can just limit it to klee. Hutao has a special dash animation but you dont see it on anyone else. Only Mona and Ayaka get their special sprints and no one else has it

@@ashishshenoy3778 You're absolutely right. But dash animations like Hu Tao turning into butterflies, or Mona into water etc. are essentially just disappearing in the middle of a run. If they'd give Klee an entirely different body language, it might make the other characters look like cardboard copies and have players ask for the same treatment for their favorites. Of course, they don't necessarily have to do it for anyone but Klee.

I like how Barbara sounded before the change, she sounded very energetic and cute. I also like how Kokomi's hair and dress looked in her beta design and I wish they'd kept them similar in the final design tbh. Original Dream Aria with the vocals also sounds really pretty, sad that they didn't keep it.

Unfortunately, Barbara's voice was too hoarse in the original version, and she had a good singing voice in the setting. There seems to be some cultural difference, with miHoYo setting her up as a Japanese idol singer (she was influenced by magazines brought by Alice from other parallel worlds), but American recording directors were unfamiliar with the idol culture and interpreted her as a cheerleader (although this is indeed more familiar to Americans)

I think I just like darker games, but If the traveler had witnessed lumine die, and then get transported to a new world against their will to I assume avenge their sisters death and find her body, I would play like, every day. And the story would probably be way more different.

and it would have made way more sense than what we have now. we look for lumine, then we find her but we dont ask anything we want to leave immidately, then we split apart again with cryptic things, now we try to find her again (????) . also that the twins sticking together like glue in that age while in the game 3 years passed is just not realistic. at some way you cope and move on to fix the situation (especially since traveler is portrayed as gary stu, perfect in everything, smart, mind of a detective) but still cries over his sister that isn't even dead and doing pretty well. It would have made WAY MORE SENSE and a much better story if indeed she was killed because she idd something bad (remember the twins were about to leave a world that is destroyed by chaos just like that before being stopped, maybe THEY caused the chaos and even destruction and move to the next planet), however if lumine would have been killed as punishment but aether needs to make a journey and do certain things to bring her back in the end with certain big tasks. THAT would have a goal and a consistent storyline. not what we have now like 1 year passing and we ask maybe 1 person about "where is sis?"

Barbara's EN voice was one of the reason i changed to JP. Her voice is weirdly husky, it doesnt fit her image. For klee and amber, they couldve kept their walking/idle animation since theyve already spent effort to animate it so why not release them like that.

Because she was supposed to become the honorary knight during the original story. Kate and Kevin were both separate characters with totally different backstory like Kate was from Fontaine i believe and moved to Mondstadt while Kevin was from Liyue, and they both had fixed elements (Kate was anemo, Kevin was geo) but the idea was scrapped for the Traveler twins.
