The craziest thing is even with these changes and tank buffs, Cho’Gath is actually heavily underperforming, he’s below a 47% win rate across the board. But yet Godzu makes it look like it’s 100%😂

I mean, Cho is still really good in long games, but there are tanks that do a better job, mainly due to their kits, most Tanks are excellent teamfighters, with kits that allow them to peel for carries or hard engage into the enemy, or both, Cho does not have those tools, while he can certainly tank more damage than anyone else once he reaches a certain point, with champions like Ornn or Maokai, you dont need to tank as much damage because you have enough setup to let your team deal as much damage as necessary.

the reason cho under performs in WR% is due to the heavy incentive and ability to get kills. the gold that would normally go to the bursty dmg role is instead funneled into a immobile tank. sadly the best part about cho is also the worst. if they gave cho mobility of any sort he would become god, but as he is now he relys on poor enemy dodging to win the game.

Literal example of why RIOT shouldn't expect people to carry games. Team games are expected, maybe perhaps having someone catrying it. But it does absolutely nothing if your team is trash. Only mildly good one in that was Brand. Honestly, Godzu, you are a beast for holding that long. This is the reason that I quit playing though, as I always get stuck with games like this. It isn't fun when you get a lot of kills, but end up losing cause no one knows how to defend objective.

He got lucky with the matchup. Most fed member was Sylas who had to go melee range on him. 2nd most fed was MF which was low mobility ADC. That was why he didn't have to build the dmg items and instead went full tank. The other three all had to go in close either way, so yeah, ChoGath dream matchup right there. It would've been hell if he had to fight range. Still nice video showing power of the combo but kinda think this wouldn't have been this close if enemy team just played macro.
