The metal ones are cloisonné, that is glass fired onto the surface. Your top down filming really does them justice. Hi BOB, I’m ready for my friendship bracelet. I really think you would have a beautiful sun catcher strand using one of each of your favorite beads with a small plain bead or two between each one. String them on some strong fishing line and end with a larger crystal to hang in a window to remember our legacy crafter. Thanks for all your work on this series.

The beads in the 1st case are hand made Cloisonné beads probably made in china. There are some unique shapes and colours that I haven't seen before. They are really beautiful. The rest of the beads are hand made in the Czech Republic in small family run business for generations. As some of these small factories are not being passed on to the next generation (kids don't want the business) the beads made in previous years could become unique & rare. Each family has their own moulds they use and therefor some bead shapes will no longer exist. I'm so loving seeing all these beads, as that's my thing.

I like to tie beads on the end of ribbons and fibers when making tags or bookmarks for journals 😎 You can also make a quick bracelet by stringing them on to stretchy jewelry cord. Doesn’t take much.

The flat backs look like they are cabachons. They can be glued into jewelry clasps or you can bead around them.

I think you could use the beads you really like in your journals. Use thread to tie them on a tag or pocket or just glue them onto a page. You’re probably not going to come across beads like this very often.

Even though I never got into jewelry beads like this are always something I had a hard time resisting. I can understand why you come across a few that you don’t want to put down either. Maybe you need to get into a little bit of charm bracelet making in your shop with all these beautiful beads. I used to have a few friends that were really into jewelry making, and they would’ve gone crazy for this stuff. But that was a long time ago. Have fun with those beautiful beads! 🩷🩷🩷
