Tearing open a sealed copy of Rule of Rose is pure insanity! Cannot believe the guy selling it even allowed it. If they can't verify it's legitimacy just don't buy it off him.

I'm personally more disappointed in the seller than CEX, surely they could get more money online for a sealed copy. I know CEX is quick turnaround but they probably lost multiple hundreds of $ doing that while simultaneously ruining a neat bit of gaming history.

Happy Sunday, Callum!!! Hope the parcel I sent you arrives safe. I actually picked up a copy of Killer Frequency when I was hunting in London last weekend. Hoping to give it a go soon. Also when I was there in had both types of experiences in GAME on Oxford st. Went up with a few clearance titles and the dude said they weren't in stock. Went back a day or 2 later to kill some time and this other guy brought out stacks of newly reduced stuff to us. Wasn't even on the shelves yet. So managed to get a copy of Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series on the Xbox for £12 and Biomutant for £4. Sweet deals along with so CEX and charity shop finds.

Was in Hartlepool cex just a couple days ago and they’ve got a copy of rule of rose as well and someone was talking to the staff about saying a bunch of sealed copies were recently found by someone so expect to see a few more copies turning up on eBay and cex in the near future.

Rule of Rose might be one of the most available games from the "PS2 Grails", especially the UK version and sealed. I don't know who, but a lot of boxes were found and there are so many copies circulating so, it might have a market crash and it might become somewhat cheap in a near future. I see it in so many on European sites for 200€ and they are all UK and sealed.

End Ghetto - thanks to this video I've learned about a few more stores in Doncaster and Sheffield as well as learning today how good their (and Leeds') CEXs are. I've been through Sheffield to Derby but never to Doncaster or Sheffield to retro game hunt and as I'm hunting for a good Dual Shock 2 ahead of UKSG I think I now know where I'll be able to get one. The stuff in Morecambe Blackpool and Preston is good but not what I need right now.

Nice pickups. 🫡. Just an idea for your megadrive spine row. You could always have games forward facing in the centre. In line with the megadrive sign. And then spine facing either side? That way fills the space but also keeps it uniform while it grows 😂. Just a thought dude.
